Flomer Furniture & Appliance — Local services in Woodburn

After a recent move to Woodburn we were advised by numerous people to "go to Flomer's" when we couldn't find the furniture we wanted. We went into Flomer's, told Tom what we were looking for and he immediately directed us to the perfect chair. He had us try a couple other chairs but that first one was IT. This man knows his furniture and listens to his customers. He then suggested that we bring in a sofa cushion to make sure the colors would go together. We wanted two chairs so one chair had to be ordered. That process took a little longer than expected but as I am sitting in the chair, that was delivered yesterday, it was well worth the wait. Absolutely brilliant. From the first time I went to this (local, family-owned) store, I received great service. Riley was the main person I worked with. He listened to my needs. He visited my home to offer advice and take measurements. He did loads of research to find options for me (and narrow down choices so it wasn't overwhelming). I ended up with a sofa, a sofa bed, a mattress and foundation, and two book shelves. All of this was delivered yesterday by Riley and a father-son employee duo and I so appreciated their skill (and strength) in moving things into place, including some awkward downstairs-upstairs challenges. I could not be more delighted ... and I'll add that the shopping/communication experience was much, much better than the typical experience in a chain...

I recently purchased a GE refrigerator from Flomer. I worked with Tom and Riley, and found both to be very knowledgeable and professional. Tom went the extra mile working with me over the phone (I couldn't get into the store because my car was in the shop waiting for parts). As it turned out, they had a refrigerator on the floor that worked for me and delivery was arranged for the following day. The gentleman and his son who delivered the refrigerator provided next-level service. Such care was given not to damage my new appliance or anything else in my home.
