Had to search far and wide for this place while visiting Woodburn. It is in a crumbling age old neighborhood but when I walk in the seemingly side door I was thoroughly impressed. It was very clean and inviting. The kitchen set up was professional and industrial sized. I was in search for my favorite fried pork belly treat chicarone. They were only 7 bucks a lb and chopped into bite size pieces. They were the best I have ever had. They were so well done and so evenly fried I was in heaven. The sweet women helping me was very nice and might I add very cute. I don't speak Spanish but she understood enough English I was easily helped. I'm so glad I found this hard to find location. A great place to buy delicious meat, rice, beans, nopal, and warm tortillas. It's been here for generations and has an amazing reputation within the community for its high food quality, friendly staff, and low prices.
