I really enjoyed my classes here for the most part. Amanda was one of my favorite instructors, hands down. I went to CP Bothell and Woodinville for over a year. Unfortunately, this negative review is based on the business aspect of my experience. I made a decision to move out of state and I reached out to CP to cancel my membership, explaining my move date was mid-August. In the texts you can see I ultimately decided to pay for another month knowing I would not use all of them because - and only because - the employee told me I would be refunded. I - like most people - did not think I had to confirm what she told me by reading through the contract to validate she was sharing accurate information. Much to my surprise, when I moved and requested the refund, I was told “no” even after showing them the conversation where the employee told me otherwise. Unfortunate. When you work with a company, you have a reasonable expectation that the employee is giving you correct information when you are discussing matters like this. I work as a VP of Account Management and have to make decisions every single day like this when customers ask to break the contract. 99% of the time, we hold the line because we have contracts for a reason. However - at times our sales reps or other employees misinform a customer. I personally review calls and emails and if someone has the misinformation in writing, I make a good faith decision to make an exception and accommodate what the employee erroneously said or, if it’s egregious, come up with a win-win. That’s my business practice because I believe it’s the right thing to do and I value integrity. Not all businesses or leaders have the same philosophy, and that is completely okay, but I disagree with it.

My coworkers and I from Physiocare Physical Therapy joined their free 30 minute intro class to see what pilates was all about. We have a few patients who enjoy working out there and wanted to be able to further help them reach their goals knowing what physical demands were required during their Pilates classes. Ryleigh was our instructor and she was great! High energy, funny, and VERY attentive and knowledgeable about exercise and modifications for those who need it. We feel very comfortable referring patients to meet their fitness goals knowing that their instructors are well educated and pay attention to body mechanics to keep people healthy and out of pain!

I recently started pilates at Club Pilates Woodinville studio and I love it. I wish I had started sooner- core is stronger, posture is better and I see cross-training benefits in other sports (running, skiing, climbing). I have enjoyed classes by Erica and Jenny and look forward to exploring other classes. The front desk staff, especially Bianca, are amazing; they are communicative, responsive and accommodating. I highly recommend this studio!

Forewarning others - they like to bait and switch you with their membership requirements. This happened to me and I've overheard them tell this to other customers too.

You have to sign up for a membership and minimum agreement of 3 months, otherwise face a cancellation fee. When I signed up, they strongly encouraged the unlimited package even though I was hesitant on being able to use it enough to have it make sense. I explicitly asked IF I downgrade to a different membership later, does that count towards the 3 months and they clearly told me yes, which was the only reason I tried unlimited. After a month and seeing that I was unable to attend enough classes with my schedule, I asked to downgrade my package. After 3 months, I did cancel due to my schedule and lack of availability of classes. Now, I'm seeing a $100 cancellation fee because apparently, every time you change the type of membership, it restarts the 3 months requirement, which no one ever mentioned. It's not about the cost but rather the ethics. I called for help but the manager was extremely rude and told me that I "need to better read the contract" and then hung up on me. I have never experienced something like this nor have I really ever taken time to write reviews. I'm saddened to write it because I really enjoyed their studio and would have returned in the future when my schedule changed, but definitely not after this.

Other Cons: Limited class availability, class cancelation fees (even though they tell you, if they fill the spot, you won't get charged - you do), first time you come in you need grippy socks and if you don't have it, you have to buy there which is overpriced at $25-$30, I've had teachers be extremely late to class with a full studio waiting 15 mins for...

I tried Club Pilates for about 4 months with the $120 subscription (4 classes per month). They also offer 8 classes per month (~$180) or unlimited ($200+). The studio itself is very nice with great equipment and the staff are very friendly. I found the classes to be very relaxing on the mind and body. I liked that I could get a really good full body workout but not break a sweat (keep in mind I only did beginner style classes). I also enjoyed that each class, even if you went to the same instructor, was different in some way from the last time you went.

Although I enjoyed Club Pilates, I ended up canceling my membership for a few reasons. Number one was the cost per class, it was just too expensive, especially when comparing costs to other places such as Golds or 24 hour fitness where you pay significantly less for unlimited access to a wide variety of equipment and classes, including mat Pilates. Another huge reason I canceled was because I found that the reformer was not used as much as I would have liked, and a lot of the exercises I could have easily done at home with no special equipment or trained personal. There were only a few instructors I found that utilized the reformer for most of their class and that restricted my schedule to only those people. Lastly, I didn't like the stress of having to use my credits each month or else they expire. I heard they are really good at helping you move credits around if needed but with how expensive they are, it would be nice if they didn't expire and just rolled over to the next month if not used. Overall, Pilates was fun to try but not...
