Green Zone Recycling Center — Local services in Woodland

To me it seems as though Green Zone pays more than the other recycling centers in Woodland, CA. They also offer more recycling services. CRVs (plastic bottles,aluminum cans, glass bottles), scrap medals, card boards, auto batteries & more. They also have a lot of buckets available to separate recyclables & push carts to put them on, so there usually isn't a wait. Green Zone is pretty popular, so it can get busy & crowded at times, so it would be nice if there was more parking spaces, maybe open 7 days a week instead of 6. Service was good by the guys in the front but I had a check bounce from this place after having to wait their three day rule that was no problem but I come back asking to get help with this problem and they could do nothing all they tell me is come back in three more days!! While the check the gave me bounce and a payment I had to make got charged and was told by the bank that the check is no good this place has no money to pay for a check they wrote out isint that illegal or something I'ma talk to a layer and ask , don't do business with this place unless you to wait 2 weeks to get paid or worse...

Amazing place I’ve been to allot of scrap yards and none come close to as helpful freindly and easy to navigate . Well staffed and I’ve never left without a smile . If you are out near the metal pile be weary of vehicle movement and ask permison if you want to look for possible metal to purchase. I’ve bought welding leads / power cable here and just about every piece of metal I’ve ever welded . Just remember if you ask for help these guys will have no problem...
