My Card wasn't working here one day. I had just got gas around the corner and i did have sufficient funds. It was just one of those days where nothing was going right. So after a few attempts at both debit our credit i left empty handed. I needed some tools so i went to harbor freight and my card worked there. Determined to get the breakfast items i needed for my kids, i went back to grocery outlet. Grabbed the items again and again my card declined and declined. Humiliated and confused i started to leave again. The owner of the store stopped me and told me to take the items with me. She had paid for them. She didn't have to do that. But i was very grateful. I will continue to shop here first because of three service more so than the deals. Their meats are getting to be better quality and their fruits as well. Read moreI always enjoy making this store my first stop for my grocery rounds. The only reason I marked my experience 4☆ is because at the end when it was time to check out there was a line. In which I did not mind. There were two cashiers open, 2 people in front of me, 2 behind and a few people scattered to the side. (Customers were unsure which way the line was suppose to form) Another cashier came up to help out but instead of taking the next customer, pulled whoever was closest to the register they were opening. For me it was whatever but they didn't approach the customer in a kind manner. They snapped their fingers at the customer. The customer did not mind but if it were a person that did, the situation could have went in a completely different direction. I did enjoy seeing the owner working the floor. An associate named Lisa was the most blatantly cruel, hateful and disrespectful person I have ever encountered for absolutely zero reason. I tried speaking with her about how her unkindness and demeanor was effecting me ( a super kind and tolerant person who understands people have bad days) and she just glared at me, made zero attempts to apologize and make it right and even when her wonderful manager came out,just walked away. The woman has something seriously wrong with her and lacks empathy and customer service. I've been a loyal customer weekly for years and will NEVER shop there again after my experience today.
