CORT Furniture Outlet — Local services in Woodlawn

My folks were shopping for and in the need of a sofa with very specific features they were looking for last week. They are both in their 80's and have had mobility issues where they have difficulty getting up out of most traditional sofas and chairs -- so they wanted a very firm sofa and also one that sat a few inches higher than most sofas. After searching at many other stores they went to CORT in Catonsville and were lucky to find a sofa on the floor that fit those two key criteria they were looking for most. The staff at CORT furniture --the manager, Corinth, and the sales rep, Michael -- were very professional, friendly and gave excellent customer service. The price was right on the sofa my folks selected including the manager taking an additional $50 off the listed sticker price. It was a surprise bonus in the purchase, that we were able to get the new sofa from the showroom floor and it would be delivered later that day (which was very different from the other furniture stores that quoted anywhere from 2-12 weeks or longer, until any furniture pieces would be delivered). So, besides finding the best sofa that fit their needs out of all the sofas they had looked at - they were able to get it right away the same day instead of having to wait weeks or months until they got a sofa! The small downside to the experience was the delivery later that day. The independent delivery company that CORT used to make our delivery had some minor issues -- the heavy sofa was difficult to move for the two men and on delivery some damage scratch marks were made on the hardwood floor in my folks living room where the piece was placed. But CORT and the delivery company when made aware of the issues were very nice and apologized and made it right. Overall it was an excellent experience and I would recommend CORT...

CORT provided a wonderful furniture shopping experience, logistics and delivery took some time, however, the customer service I received from Rick and his team were unparalleled. Selection of furniture was expansive and I have never met a team so eager to please - a rare quality in today's consumer world.

From the moment I walked in the door, Rick and Alex ensured I was provided attention and not just to make a sale. They both were passionate about helping me find the perfect setup for my new home! Rick went above and beyond to make sure all my needs were met. When it came time for delivery, there was a bit of a delay, however, that is expected in the climate of logistics today.

What made the most impact, was Rick taking the time to reach out to me regarding these delivery delays before, during, and AFTER the process. He made sure to follow-up and see how everything went and further made it known that he was always available for assistance. Service like this has been lost and Rick and his team provide service in droves - because of Rick and his team I will shop with CORT exclusively moving forward.

I stumbled upon Cort Furniture simply by accident because it's sort of tucked away in the shopping center. I had been searching for furniture since the pandemic hit and it has been a nightmare due to extremely long shipping time frames. However I walked into Cort on 7/22/2021 and was greeted by the Outlet Manager Corinth. She was so gracious in explaining the type of furniture they offered and to my surprise it was all same day take home or next day delivery. I had my sights set on the set in the picture and asked for a 24 hour hold she agreed. The next day I came on to purchase and arranged delivery. In which case I met with Michael who was absolutely amazing. Corinth and Michael made my experience so pleasurable and personal I ended up buying a brand new livingroom set and 2 large area rugs for my living and dining room. Delivery was fast and and seamless. The delivery team, delivered and set everything up within a 30 min window. I was so pleased with my purchase and experience.
