Kohl's — Local services in Woodstock

I went into this location 2 weeks ago and went straight to the juniors department to look for a dress. I was immediately tailed by an associate who never offered to help me look for anything, I thought maybe she was looking for a product for another customer. Nope I was being followed around like a criminal. Now I need shoes for said dress and I called to talk to the shoe department. The girl on the phone made me look up the shoe SKU, asked how large the heel of the shoe was, and what the shoe looked like. I had already called crystal lake and south Rockford locations who looked up this shoe all on their own and said they didnt have the color I was looking for. I am very disappointed with the Woodstock location and will not be going there for the foreseeable future. I'd much rather give them a big fat 0 than 1 star. Kohls is a joke, how is this even still a store in 2024? I don’t typically ask for a military discount however when I’m buying new cloths and shoes for my 2 kids to replace their entire wardrobe that’s now too small, I wouldn’t mind getting a discount where I can. They informed me they only give military discounts on Mondays. “Thank you for your service but only on Monday” is what that says. Then I finally got time on a Monday to go and my kids pick out new shoes, some cloths, I figure might as well grab some other stuff we need since it’s Monday and I’ll get the military discount. After ringing us up and putting in the military discount they inform us that those brands don’t allow them to give a military discount. But I did get 5 dollars in kohls cash. What an absolute joke. This location continuously disappoints me. I have attempted to shop here many times over the last 6 years that I have resided in the area and in both the women’s and kids departments the same problem keeps occurring- lack of size and selection. Today I walked in and it appears to have gotten worse as it looked like a going out of business TJ Max with more clearance than clothing on the regular racks. Per usual those racks had 3/4 of each style with sizes that went ‘XS - XS - XXL’ with an occasional XL or S thrown in. Same in the little girls section - the size I look for is never there in styles worth purchasing - and then I gave up and left. It just becomes increasingly frustrating when your on time limits and the town doesn’t have much to choose from and all your asking for is a pair of black dress pants that fits and doesn’t look like it was designed for an...
