We have been ordering from La Trinidad for 2.5 years, today I was blown away by the situation. We ordered $60 dollars in carry out food tonight. We received a call that they were out of one of our meat selections, no biggie we picked a second option. While on the phone my husband is asked about tortillas and he says he would like flour. 10 minutes later we drive to get our food, while home unpacking our food we notice a dish we didn’t order with corn tortillas. My husbands phone rings about the same time and it’s the restaurant calling to ask us to bring back the meal and tortillas...wth? We are in the middle of a pandemic and you would like us to return a mistaken food item we have opened??? My husband was puzzled but agreed to come back because we were missing our chips and his flour tortillas. We were also told to return the corn tortillas. My husband drove back to the restaurant and explains he is missing his flour tortillas and chips while giving the bag of food back. The lady, while on the phone says he never ordered them (we ordered 1lb of meat that includes tortillas) and she asked us about flour or corn while on the phone earlier. She proceeded to argue with my husband gave him his chips and he was baffled by all that had occurred and left with out his flour tortillas. Needless to say we are done eating at La Trinidad. That fact that you would ask a customer to return an item that had been opened, whether a pandemic or not, is absolutely disgusting and terrible customer service. By the time my husband returned, his food was cold and he didn’t have tortillas for the meat he ordered. Also, we are not new customers and we ordered $60 in food, why are you arguing...
Read moreI have not eaten here in a long time. Since I move in & out of Woodstock Constantly. But hands down best posole I have ever had ever!! I regret not eating here more often in the past. I hope it’s the same owner of this restaurant still, since they opened it in the begging. If it’s the same owner, she is a humble person, a very kind person. I’m very impressed of how she has succeeded in her restaurant. I remember her back in the days before she opened up any restaurant. She was a dreamer, she would dream of her restaurant business. I recall listening to her talk about how she would open up her restaurant business. When we use to work together for another company in the early 2000’s. She’s a inspiration to us the dreamers, if you can vision it & dream it. You can achieve it!!!!! Gods bless her & her restaurant business!! It’s a blessing to have her restaurants in Mc Henery county. I’m telling you I have eaten in many restaurants in different states I lived & countys & she’s got the best posole I have ever had!! I will be coming back again & again to eat from now on. Siege soñando que dios la vendiga, y le de mas restaurants para qureser y ser mas...
Read moreWe have been to this place a couple of times and the food is great, but honestly the service is the worst I have seen in a long time. The waitress we had yesterday seemed more than aggravated that she had to wait on us. The dirty look she gave as we ordered our drinks ( which took over 15 minutes to get.). My tacos came out cold as cold as the cheese on top of them! My brother asked for a shot of tequila and she had said she had to check what kind they had... and she never came back!!! I had to physically get up to find her and when I did she walked away to hide in the back!!! So I then had to lean over the counter to order that shot and a couple other beverages ( she didn’t even look at me) and just said yes. Needless to say this bad experience is the reason I will never go back there even though the food is great!! Can’t tolerate the bad slow service at this...
