I come to this Kroger almost daily. I spend $1000-1200 per month at this location. I like to get my things and use the self checkout to make it easier on the employees.
Sherri is at the self checkout just about every time I come in. She is never friendly to me. Never greets or offers to assist. And when I require assistance with a machine malfunction she is never eager to help. Always just curtly says 'excuse me' so I can step even further away from the machine than I'm already standing. Today, a price rang up incorrectly. I told her about it and immediately I get attitude. 'Well that sounds like the right price because those are expensive. But let me call back there.' Someone on the phone quickly confirms the incorrect price...obviously without going to check the sign. I take the item back to the spot I got it from and sure enough, I was correct and the price that rang up was incorrect. I talked to a employee in that department and he said he would call Sherri to tell her. When I get back up there, nothing was said by Sherri. I said 'did he call you?' She gave me a short 'yeah I fixed it.' Well, I look on the screen and she put it in for $.50 higher than the sign showed! So I said no that wasn't right. She said, 'well I'll have to call him back to find out.' Lots of attitude at this point. She calls him back and confirms the actual correct price this time. Never saying sorry about that or any kind of smile or friendly face or even any eye contact. Sherri has made me make the decision to stop coming to this location. Her lack of customer care is blatantly obvious. It may a racial bias sort of thing with her because I have noticed her treat the minority customers much differently than I get treated. She smiles and is kind and talkative to any person of color that uses the self checkout. I am quite disappointed in this employee. I have been coming to this location for 20...

Most of the employees here are very helpful. I'm prompted to write this because, for the third time, the front end manager Alyssa is giving me a hard time about returning nonperishable, low dollar items, purchased in the past week to month without a reciept. I tend to buy items for events or on impulse and always end up with leftovers. I use my Koger card with every purchase and any other employee has no trouble looking it up with the scanner and has been able to at least give a store credit for without an manager approval. I dont care about putting it back on my credit card since im shopping that day anyway. A manager on another day was able to print out 90 days of my purchase history after, Alyssa had made repeated trips to the back office just to call me a liar by saying I never shop here. She may as well be using it as an excuse to spend a 10-30 minutes off the floor. This has been my regular Kroger going on 3 years. There isn't much for affordable grocery store options here so, I'll just avoid the service counter when I need something on her shift. If I have a return, ill just take it back to the car and bring it in on another day. It's an inconvenience but, only because she makes it that way.
I'm sorry, I didn't mean to post those photos from the bargain bin produce. I want to delete them but, haven't figured out how yet. I was looking for what could have led to the spots, GPS happened...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis will be my last visit to this store and possibly Kroger in general. At 9AM on a Monday morning, this store has been opened for two hours today. There are several self checkouts open but not one cashier maintained register to be seen. I began to check out at one of the self checkout stations directly in front of a group of three female employees who are gathered chatting about their lives. My register fails to work because I have so many items that they are now backed up at the end of the conveyor belt. Now Iām not only required to work as the active CASHIER but also the BAGGER. This is UNACCEPTABLE! My experience as a shopper today with Kroger is not as I am accustomed to being treated in more professional grocery stores. After one of the group of employees comes over to assist me, only because the register lights up and loudly begins to notify the whole store, the register fails three more times. At this point I am very frustrated and tell her this situation is unacceptable. To my dismay, she blames me, the customer, by stating that I should have went to the register with the cashier. The cashier that is missing from their register. Believe me, I searched long and hard for this cashier before I reluctantly went through the self check out. Go ahead and blame the customer for buying groceries at a grocery store two complete hours after opening because you have been interrupted from your three person group chat! DO BETTER KROGER! Or possibly this Merger Iām hearing about will be the answer to your...
