Krystal — Restaurant in Georgia

Let me tell you about my visits and then give my opinion on some other reviews.... This location has some of the best associated and they are very friendly. So food, the other day I tried the new chicken side kicks. They are great and tasty and the chicken was moist, the pimento cheese was a great addition. Today I had the Krystal Sunriser egg, cheese, sausage on a Krystal bun. These are always very good and 2 for $3 is a value to me. Now I have been eating Krystal since 1965 and I get tired of the comments of the soggy bun. The way they are cooked gives the bun the "soggy" part! In the old days you could see the grill and how they are cooked. Meat on grill , cook then turn over now a dob of onions, bottm of bun on top then the top bun on it. So the meat cooks and the steam cooks the onions and the bun picks up the flovor..so it is part of the process and the bun will have some soggyness..(my made up word).That is part of the unique taste of the "Krystal", if you want toasted buns go to BK! Rant over now to go my fav ..... cheese Krystal "of the grill" add ketchup, you old time guests will know what...

First, I am from Chicago and used to love White Castle burgers since i was a pre-teen... NOW I love Krystal burgers much better! My wife and I stopped at this location on our way home from visiting our son in northern Illinois. When we arrived, I walked up to the door and noticed that the dining room was closed for the day, but the drive-through was still opened. As I turned to walk away, Octavius opened the door to tell me that he could take my order instead of going through the drivr through. I asked about the difference in burger sizes and pricing. He explained everything so clearly and quickly, I was very impressed. He took my order and as I waited he futher explained that he knew about White Castle burgers, and Krystal burgers were far better. I can say that I am now a believer and will visit Krystal burgers whenever I get the hankerin for one of these litle bites of Heaven. Thank you to Krystal for making such a great product, and thank you to Octavius for being so kind, courteous, and helpful...he deservs a 'Best service'...

I managed a Waffle House several years ago and it was spotless I walked into this Krystal for the 1st time and it was disgusting. The floors hadn't been swept nor the table wiped down. There was leftover food on the counter. The floor in the kitchen had fries and burgers on the floor. The drink machine drainage thing was filled with water and wasn't draining. As for our food order there was one person working the counter and drive thru window. Our order was wrong, I ask for a large order of tater tots and got fries instead. 16 fries intact. Is that even a large order. After 15 minutes we finally got our order, we told her when we ordered it was to eat in, somehow we got it in paper bags. She said I forgot. How in the heck could she have forgotten we were the only people there. As for the manager she was not in uniform and seemed like she didn't want to be there. If I had to pick a fast food restaurant to go to it certainly wouldn't be ...
