I can think of better ways to spend an afternoon than shopping for furniture. Consequently, I am not one to go shopping from store to store trying to save pennies on the dollar. On the other hand, I donāt want to throw away money either. That is why Woodstock Furniture was appealing to me to begin with.
First, the reviews speak for themselves. Obviously other people have had good experiences and letās face it, the parking lot is usually full of cars. Secondly, they have a broad selection. While they may not have pieces appropriate to furnish an 18th century villa on Lake Como, there should be something to fill most anyoneās style and budget, even those with modest means.
I was in the market for a particular recliner. I wanted something smaller than normal, somewhat discrete in style, and of course, comfortable. To my delight, thereās what seems like 100ās of choices. I found a gaudy catcherās mitt-inspired chair that could only be tastefully displayed in a man-cave dripping in machismo. I also found a subtle example in conservative leather that almost concealed its ability to recline. As you might expect, there was just about everything in between.
I had help from a lady (her name escapes me) on my first visit who was very friendly, some may even say bubbly. After directing me to the closeout section, she went to check to see if a particular chair that she thought would be good for me was in-stock and mentioned that she would be right back. After some time, I realized she had vanished. I made a loop around the store looking for her and noticed that a nice-looking fellow must have caught her undivided attention. She had clearly decided to devote herself to him at this point. No biggie. Iām not easily offended or let down. Besides, who can blame a salesperson for trying to catch a bigger fish? I was on my lunch break anyway, so I headed back to the office.
I returned that afternoon to try to broaden my search beyond the closeout area. Thatās when I met Megan. She did a fantastic job collaborating with me in my quest. First, she was not pushy or condescending. Instead, she listened to what I had to say, filled in some blanks, and pointed out a few things that I may not have thought about. Then she led me around to show some chairs that fit within my target budget. I did find a chair that I could live with, but evidently others did too because it was out of stock. That was okay though, Iād head home and sleep on it and visit again.
In the meantime, Megan had provided a means to text message her via her laptop with any questions about the chairs we reviewed. I did find a couple that seemed appealing on the Woodstock website and I inquired about them. She took the time to walk around the store and send pictures of additional chairs that fit within the parameters of what I was looking for.
I returned later in the afternoon and finally made a purchase. So far, Iām as happy as can be. I donāt think I would have found this chair without Meganās help and expertise. At some point, the dizzying array of chairs all seemed to blur together, and I needed her proficiency and advice to rope me back into reality. Overall, it may not be what I would consider the āperfectā chair or exactly what I was looking for, but after my wilderness wanderings in the store and some quick web-surfing at other outlets, I am fairly sure such a chair doesnāt exist anyway. In the end, it ended up being below my $1000 budget too, so I can live with that!
On the downside, to me thereās not much more annoying than contemporary Christian music and believe me, you are going to get an earful of it here. Be prepared to block it out as needed.

Extremely disappointed with the service I have received with my purchase. On Monday, I came into the store, and I purchased several items as part of a bedroom set (a bedframe, a dresser, 2 chests, and 2 nightstands). The delivery for said items was scheduled for Thursday and I received the invoice with the delivery date highlighted in-store. Today I received a text message letting me know that the bedframe I have purchased is actually unavailable and that a system error allowed two sales associates to check out with the same item. Now things happen, however, I was informed initially today that not only would I not receive the bedframe in the delivery, I would have to pay an additional delivery fee to have it delivered AND because it was the last one they had in stock, I would need to pay a higher rate from the manufacturer, rather than the sale rate offered to me in store. Our sales consultant has since promised to try and honor the price I have already agreed to pay. I was urged to confirm the delivery despite missing the bedframe and when they sent confirmation of what would be delivered, the two nightstands were also not available to be delivered. When I asked for clarification that now 3 of the 6 items would not be delivered, our sales consultant confirmed that yes, I actually cannot receive the nightstands that were also purchased and scheduled for delivery at the same time. I called the store and after speaking to someone who could not have cared any less to help me, was transferred to a manager, Fernando. Fernando let me know that he would look into the issue and give me a call back within a few minutes. In the meantime, I sent the sales consultant who has texted me a message and she asked me to give her a call. She told me that Fernando asked her to give me a call, and he would not be calling me back. She again asked me to confirm my delivery and let me know that no one will be able to tell me when the rest of my items can be delivered and how this mess will be resolved until tomorrow. I absolutely understand that system errors can occur and are no one's fault but this has been an extremely confusing situation that has been handled rather...

Majority of my home has been furnished through Woodstock outlet so it was a no-brainer to go back when I was in need of two new couches ASAP. I literally only had 30 minutes to get inside, find what I need, Close the deal and try to get delivery this very same day. Mr. Holt spoke to me first offering assistance and he listened very tentatively to my needs, my budget, my time constraint and immediately had all my concerns addressed and he had me out the door in less that 15 minutes!!!! That included the time he took to ensure I had same day delivery ā¦. Just hours after my purchase!!! He also took the time to ask if I was a military veteran so he could offer me a veterans discount!!! I was thrilled and shocked because most places dont offer discounts for veterans anymore and most of the time even if they do they fail to ask if youāve served your country to make you aware of the discount you can receive as a thank you for your service. Not only did he do all that (inquiring of my military veteran status), But he is naturally very caring and empathetic, grounded and deeply rooted in God, And he definitely let his light shine that God has filled him with. Again, I must remind you he accomplished all of this within 15 minutes!!!! I left there not only feeling very Relieved, and at ease that my needs were met I felt very honored and blessed to have such A professional and genuine man Being the best version of himself that God created him to be. So whether you are short on time or not, if you Ever walk through the doors at Woodstock furniture outlet Do yourself a favor and make a beeline To locate this man in the store to assist you. You donāt meet many people like him Anymore but once in a blue moon, if even that often. This manās energy, his demeanor, his peace, His sincerity, And his heart shined brightly and all he did to help me today.
