when I entered my eyes widened, so many unique bowl pieces and products to offer. first glance every piece appears premium quality. feeling some of the bowls and prices that quality was confirmed on expensive bowls. I am no glassmith nor shop owner but the pricing seemed a little expensive to quality. NOW the reason I'm leaving this review, I initially purchase a new bowl because I had broke my previous. searching for a high quality bowl that could survive multiple drops (like my old one). I own a bong. I was looking around. It was well for most of the visit, but what bothered me is as one of the employees was helping me, I must was taking long as the owner stepped right in and adverted the employee. the owner took over to serve me as if his employee may not have been making the sell fast enough. I felt rushed and unwanted in the store. I finally picked the bowl in the picture. I approached the employee on the other portion of the store for a dab banger (picture below). dab bangers have different sizes and types and they do have more, but this size 18 mm. Employee says people use the 15 mm more and the owner standing there confirmed what employee was relaying. I asked the owner if this didn't fit would I be able to return for the smaller size? Rest assured he'll exchange free as are all the same price. they even wrapped it up in bubble wrap to ensure that I didn't break. Unbeknownst to me getting home and revealing the banger, huge knick in the glass (picture). I size it with my bong (yeah that means it has residue on it). it was the wrong size banger and didn't fit in the bong. I called the number on google to redeem, a free exchange. upon calling the number I got the owners cell phone, surprise. I explained issue with the banger and asked for exchange. Says hes not in the store. I asked for store number, his personal cell is the ONLY store number. He said he'll take care of it, I said thank you, first phone call over. my girl with the banger returns for the exchange, they had no idea why she was there or who she was. THEN they said we cannot exchange a knick in the glass. Cannot resell. the manager, unbeknownst to her of the exchange, then said the small residue (picture) is why they cannot exchange it because they cannot resell. Proclaimed I smoked out of it. Looks crystal clear to me. My girl told them what the owner said, manager calls the owner to update herself. I called again, his tone was INSTANTLY different, says he can't because it's used. Offers 5 off another. I declined the discount, then he lies, says he wasn't there when it got sold to me, and he's not the one who sold it to me. I said you're the owner so you ARE the one who sold it to me so take care of this. He starts yelling how he's only willing to discount, I interrupted him and said when she first brought the banger in she was denied because of the knick in the glass so that means it should not have even been sold to me and I need a refund. He got EXTREMELY livid and DEMANDED that I leave his store and then hung up the phone on me. I told my girl to tell everyone in the store to have a nice day and to walk out with what you paid for.
I think that this was very poor professionalism, I think that if you have employees you should have a means to update them on the decisions you make and the choices you declare. I think everyone in the store should know the protocols to selling and returning products, and also the store itself should have an accessible phone that every employee can answer not just the one in his pocket. I'm not a business owner, I'm not a smoke shop owner, but honestly it doesn't really seem like he has much experience either.
As far as the staff and the employees themselves, I think they're doing an amazing job trying to hold this place together for the owner and I truly hope that they can make something of their jobs because that place doesn't seem like it's going to hold long with an owner like this.
