This was my first pedicure, I’ve dropped off my wife several times at other agencies, but I could not stay in those rooms for more than 5 minutes without suffocating with all the smoke and sprays at those places. Maria’s boutique was so clean, and organized, and there is only two chairs so you really get a very personal quiet experience. No nasty smells, or smoke, or harsh chemicals. Maria was amazing, and a great conversationalist. I was expecting some pain on my virgin toes, but she is such a professional with great technique. My wife purchased the Luxe Pedicure, for me and I tell you, I did not recognize my toes when she was done, and they felt invigarated. I will say one thing, she is so good you need to schedule appointments in advance, walk-ins are almost impossible. I am hooked, so I scheduled her for next month already. You only live once! What a poor way to run a business! She hd my number and could have called me earlier, or even the day before. I understand things happen, but this is just bad business.
Edited to respond: there was no miscommunication or misunderstanding- I had an appointment and instead of calling ahead to cancel it, it was canceled while I was there at the appointment time. Their website took my money and confirmed payment but did not provide an email receipt of purchase or an e-gift to my friend. I called Maria from Sydney as she didn't respond to my email query. She sent me an email saying that she had not revived payment even though I sent her a screen shot from her website and also from my bank statement. She said I had to contact my bank even though her platform accepted my payment.She would not respond to my emails confirming payment.
