I just left there with a bag full of nice jeans with store tags on all of them. For starters I got there and was checked in at 10:36 (see check in receipt picture). After walking around the store some I told them I needed to run directly across the street to the UPS store and was done there by 10:50 (See UPS receipt). Told the associate that I needed to leave for just a second and was gone maybe 5 minutes. She said it was fine as long as I was back by time my name was called. I asked well how long before Iām called she said another 15 minutes. I was gone literally 5 minutes and when I walked back in she said they were about done with mine. The bag I took them in was in the exact same spot it was left in and she said they had looked through it and could only give me $8 for just (2) of the items. They had other bags before mine so youāre telling me that you hadnāt touched the bag while I was there but the 5 minutes that I was gone you looked through my entire bag and could only take (2) of the 14 items I took there and all of them had tags in them. LIES, LIES, LIES. I asked for my items back and need to speak with a manager. You didnāt look through my items that fast when you told me it would be 30-40 minutes to get to me. I checked in at 10:36 and was done before 11 am but the 5 minutes I was gone you looked through my items and they were in the same place they were when I left. This place is such a joke and with the negative reviews somebody better get a handle on it before they lose yet another customer. Ripping people off or better yet not doing right by people because I honestly feel discriminated against as you saw my skin tone and didnāt give me the same customer service I saw you give to others. I will do better selling my items at a yard sale then to fool with this place. Think twice before trying to take your items here. The clothing there is way overpriced as well. Do yourself a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMost of the time I have a great experience at this location! The majority of the employees are super nice and genuine. I usually never have any issues selling or purchasing from this store however today was definitely a different experience. If you don't know, they have an oddly structured policy that you HAVE to wait in the store while they look through your items or else you have to take whatever offer they give and your items are on the shelf before you even agree to it. Obviously this isn't a rule that the employees came up with, it's corporate, so It's not their fault in how frustrating it can be. I do however think it's their job to execute the information positively and clearly and today that was not the case. I was checking in & McKenzie greeted me with the policy. I asked her to give me just a second(while I figured out if I had enough time to wait 2 hours in store), and she stared at me for 3 seconds and continued to repeat the policy and ask me for a decision. I just felt extremely rushed and pressured. I ended up waiting the two hours, within this two hours I saw the way they treated people things. They would throw stuff around that they were not accepting and make jokes about the items people were bringing in. Mckenzie ended up giving me my offer and the entire time she was extremely monotoned and definitely not genuine. This isn't the customer service I usually get from this store and I'm not sure if I want to go back! I just want to add, maybe it's a coincidence, but every other time I've sold to this store I get a very reasonable amount for my name brand items. Today I was very disappointed in the offer I was given. Bad experience and it ended up not even...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy mom has dropped off clothes at this store a few times, and has never had any big complaints. I came in with a friend who was looking for a few things, and I decided to get a wallet. I was at the register, and I passed the employee my card. As soon as I handed it to her, I said āOMG please donāt hate me, but Iāve changed my mind.ā I changed my mind because I realized I didnāt have the money to spend on the wallet. As I finished my sentence, she looked at me, inserted my card, and started processing the payment. I was shocked that she was just staring at me after I had just said I changed my mind. After the payment processed, she handed me back my card and said that if I wanted a return I would only be able to get store credit. I told her plainly that I didnāt want store credit. I didnāt want to be rude and tell her that she had processed the payment AFTER I told her I changed my mind, so that she should accommodate me because she did something against what I said with my card. However, I was very irritated with my experience. Iām not sure why she didnāt cancel the payment when I told her I changed my mind. I didnāt want store credit. I will not be shopping there again, and I will discourage others from doing so as well. In my opinion, Uptown Cheapskate in Woodstock...
