I placed an online order for $135 the morning of 3/29/25. When I went to pick up my order I was told they had no record of the order. I show them my order confirmation which includes the store location #411 Towne Lake Parkway. Despite that, the employees try and tell me I must have ordered from a a different store. They then proceed to call other stores who tell them no, they do not have my order. They then call "Rick" who I can only assume is some kind of manager. . He says sorry nothing he can do and tells them to call customer service. However its after hours for customer service so they call Rick again and he says they will just have to leave a message for customer services and that there is nothing they can do. They never took my name or number. They never offered to help me duplicate my order or offer the 10% off for online purchases which is what drove me to place the order in the first place. Essentially they did nothing. I wasted 20 minutes of my time, never received the order I paid for ( charge shows on my credit card) and had to go to another pet store that was out of my way. Now I realize why I stopped shopping at Pet Supermarket. I knew items were regularly out of stock but the customer service is horrible. And now I will also have to dispute the charge with my...
Read moreThe store shelves and floor looked clean and they have a decent variety of products for a wide variety of pets. The two stars are for the lack of care for the animals in the store. I went to the store on a weekday and found the product I was looking for but, the condition of the birds habitats were heartbreaking. The parakeets had no food and the bits that were in the bowl were not even bird food. It looked like small animal food not bird seed. As a parakeet owner, I know what I'm seeing. The water looked like it hadn't been changed in days. The conure had one tiny perch in it's cage. It had to hang on the side due to lack of perch space. The rabbits have no room to move. What was also distressing is that there were three employees at the register doing nothing but chatting with each other. Didn't even get a hello when walking in. Doing nothing instead of making sure the animals are cared for. The manager came out and took care of the situations but there seems to be a lack of training , care and courtesy at this store in my opinion. I can't shop here and support a store that doesn't seem interested in the well being of the animals they sell. I really hope they do better for...
Read moreHello, I’ve been deciding on where to shop for my three pets between Pet Supermarket and Pet Smart. I like the cleaniness of your store and the fact that it’s never really that busy, it’s also a lot closer to my house. The prices are a little higher but I looked away from that as I just liked the overall store. There is an employee named Branden, every time I come into the store he’s always nice but he’s always on his cell phone which seems to be with his wife. Tonight I asked for 12 crickets dusted with calcium powder, it seemed to be too much when he handed it to me but I didn’t think much of it. The girl at the register asked him why he put so much in the bag to which he replied “I don’t know just sell them, it’s just calcium they’ll live.” Which there were already 3 out of 12 crickets dead in the bag. I asked for new crickets and he took the bag and started ripping it in front of me, shaking his head and mumbling under his breath. I told the girl to forget it and left the store. I will never shop at any one of your stores again and I will let everyone know the kind of people you employ. I have contacted corporate and am leaving this review, if I could give negative...
