Towne Lake Center — Local services in Woodstock

I had a horrible time at Chili's Bar & Grill. My wife and I went to have lunch there. When we entered the restaurant we asked to be seated at the bar. We were told by the hostess, we couldn't because of lack of staff. So we were sat next to the entrance of the kitchen. While we sat waiting for our waitress, there were 2 other couple sat in the exact area we asked to be seated. And over the course of ordering our food, another 3 more couples had been seated in the area we asked to be seated in. My wife and I are an inter-racial couple and all of the couples that we seated after us were white. We asked to speak to the manager and he apologized with a we make good money here, our staff wouldn't treat anyone like that. It's just a regular mall. They have a heavy police presence. They are uniformed and plain clothe officers. I feel safe there, and when there is a minor incident, 25 officers respond. So, l feel comfortable knowing that if there's trouble, the trouble starters will have no idea how many officers are going to respond. You don't see the young men in bunches or crowds. They don't wear their pants hanging so low you see the undergarments. I have seen some there like that there, but the police follow them, then another set follow them, then the plain undercover officer officers follow them. Never harassing them. We paid around $12 per pound for top shelf meat. They sliced the corned beef with the grain! The sirloin was deplorable. They packed the worst side down so you couldn’t see it. It was the most expensive lump of fat we’ve ever purchased. The cut was so bad, it made us nauseous to look at it. It had twine imbedded in it too. Yummy.
