The customer service from not just the people in this curbside department, but management as well is just flat out HORRIBLE!! I utilize curbside for most of my grocery needs. My social anxiety made shopping a very difficult task for me in the past. So When curbside first started I was ecstatic. And have been using it at this location for years. Until about 4-5 months ago. I was given the wrong product multiple times, and when I called curbside I was told I was wrong! I had to go inside the store and find the correct item myself and do an exchange. And when I asked to speak to management, they were even More rude! And I was hung up on. This was the first time it had happened. And then the second time after being spoken to very rudely, basically was told I was lying, I asked to speak to management. And waited on hold for 20 minutes and then decided to jsut go find the correct product myself (which I did) and then the more recent transaction with them was the worst. And I will now be driving across town for ANY curbside needs. I had an order ready to be picked up at 6 PM. around 5 ish o found out my uncle was in a horrible car accident and we had to go to Dallas area asap. I called curbside and told them what was going on, I was advised that I had 24 hours to come get it. So until 6 pm the next day. So the next morning I called to make sure because I wouldn’t be back into town until around 3. They again assured me that I had until 6. I got there at 4 and the order had already been put back up! When I asked to speak to management I was told that that was never said! In a very rude manner as well. It was actually quite snarky. Which I don’t know what else I expected because this is most always the attitude I get when having to deal with management at this location. And also, it took me 4 days to get back my $300!!! 4 days that I didn’t have the ingredients and food that I needed and no money to get it. They have lost my business and I will be utilizing other locations for any of my needs. Even tho it’s a further drive I would rather drive than deal with constant mistakes backed up with horrible customer service when you’re jsut trying to get your groceries that you pay for with your hard earned money. And it wasn’t always like this either. I’ve gotten wrong items or items missing in the past years and it was handled with a good attitude and great customer service. I don’t know what changed but it...
Read moreAs a regular HEB shopper, we have came across a time where we no longer give this HEB in Woodway majority, if any, of our business. We do love HEB products and the company ethics but management and employees have ruined this store. It is the most disturbing store when it comes to cleanliness and promptness with management. On several occasions we have returned meat due to it being bad or "soured" or out of date and returned items that had been opened and placed back on the shelf. There has even been a time we found pimento cheese on the shelf that had been out of date months prior, gave the product to management just to find it back on the shelf the very next day.
We have called the 800 number that management gives, we have complained to the store management in charge, store director (Amy), store lead, and the list goes on.
I have seen employees throwing objects in the aisles as if thy were playing a game, have had night shift workers say ugly things towards me simply because I was "in their way", and even seen a drug exchange between two male workers.
Today, March 16 2019, I went to simply grab lunch meat from the deli as spring break comes to a close. My husband noticed the filthiness once again on the meat/cheese scale and waited for the employee to place the meat on top. After my husband said something to him about it, he said he woud wipe it afterward as if he wasn't trained that it was an issue. We took pictures of the scale and blade from the deli slicer that had obviously not been cleaned all day.
I have pictures of mold growing inside the meat case, mold growing on objects, as well as various health hazards we have noticed over the past few months.
This post is to make others aware of health violations and my next step with be a complaint with the...
Read moreYesterday I pulled up to get my curbside order. Usually I receive a text at least an hour before pickup letting me know if any of my items were substituted to allow me to accept/reject their substitution. This is usually followed by a text 15 minutes before my scheduled pickup time to let me know ow my order was ready. Yesterday I did not receive any of these text. My order was scheduled at 4-4:30 pm. I got there at 4:08. After waiting 20 minutes I received a text stating there was a substitution and that my order was ready. They substituted pot roast seasoning for stew seasoning. If I was making stew I would have ordered stew seasoning. After 25 minutes of waiting I finally called. I was told they were finishing up my order ( my order was placed at 8:30 am). I commented on the substitution and was told the employee would let me know of the substitution and that I could remove it from the bag when they brought out my order. So after waiting 25 minutes I’m expected to spend more time going through bags to try to find their substitution and the employee said nothing. Needless to say I left the substitution alone and pulled out at 4:38. 30 minutes of wait time to get groceries I’m paying more for than going in is ridiculous. I have regularly used the HEB on Valley Mills and Wooded Acres and have never had problems. Since moving back to the Hewitt area I have had numerous problems with the HEB on Woodway Dr. 2 weeks ago I was missing an item and yesterday received a packet of gravy that I did not order so now someone else will be missing an item....
