H-E-B Bakery — Restaurant in Woodway

HEB has changed considerably. They once proudly sold food planted, grown, harvested and canned in Texas or Mexíco. It was Texas owned, Texas Proud.... but no more.

A lot of their food, chicken, beef, pork, fruits, vegetables, even canned stuff I can no longer eat due to all their GMOs and Bioengineered foods... even their fresh baked Breads and pastries, and supposed organic food; it makes me ill, sick. : (

Also their pastries, Breads, cakes, donuts have changed. What was once rich, delectable, flavorful no longer is... especially the chocolate frosting. Everything has lost its original flavor...

I've been shopping at HEB since the mid 80s. It has gone down hill. This store used to sell local produce, products... maybe .05% of stuff is from the locals. Now most of the foods 85% is from foreign stores, not from Mexíco

I used to love this store, now I rarely go to it. They once helped the communities within Texas and Mexíco only around Thanksgiving and CHRISTmas with free meals , but that has changed too, now it's only about the $$$$$$ what they can get from the customers, not serve the customers.

HEB is in the same Category, no better...
