This is the first time I have been to Kohls and had a bad experience. The store was almost empty of customers when I got there so it was very easy to shop around. However, when I went to check out that is where I was treated as being invisible. There was one cashier on and when I was starting to head over to check out. I saw the cashier go to the customer service desk. I am now waiting to check out and she never looks back to see if anyone is waiting. I waited a few minutes. Then I decided to go to the customer service desk. There were no customers there, only me. There were 3 employees behind the customer service desk and 3 hanging around the desk. One of those was the cashier that walked away and the other was from the jewelry counter. I don't know where the third employee was from. Out of 6 employees nobody looked up and acknowledged me. I waited about a couple minutes and finally asked if any cashier was open so I could check out. One of them responded and said she was just busy cleaning up and then she checked me out. I think I offended her by speaking up since she was not very friendly. I didn't say anything else except Thank you when I collected my purchases. It was a very frustrating experience. 6 employees hanging around and no one even looked up. Terrible customer service. I don't mind waiting when it's busy or when I get at least get acknowledged that they will be right with me. But nothing...Too busy talking to each other. Then I get an email from Kohls asking me to rate my experience at Kohl's. I wrote the same as in this review and gave it a one star. It bounced back as undeliverable. Oh well, I guess they don't accept one...
Read moreKohl's has been my favorite clothing department store for over ten years (lot's to love), but this particular location's selection for men has just spiraled downward since the inception of COVID compared to not only what it used to stock, but what I can find in other local Kohl's locations.
I'm sure each store has its own target demo, analysis of what to stock, but this location is a VERY far cry from what the Blackstone and Northborough locations have to offer. I don't know which manager needs to read this, but specific to what I've noticed:
Men's sizing selections are horribly skewed (entirely too much S/M leftover, not enough L/XL)
The "fashionability" of the clothing is absolutely subpar. Was in here looking for various button down shirts, sweaters, zip ups, for Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, that Kohl's is normally a great staple for. And found instead just loads of sweatshirts, "leftover" outerwear, and clothing just had very odd colors for the season (pastels, bright purples, etc)
Size of selection is far far under average for what I typically see in Kohl's. They have entirely too much product for jeanwear, yet for shirts and upper body clothing items it's probably 50% the size of what I normally see in Kohls.
Not sure what it would take to change, or if things are working as they intended and I'm just a unique case, but it's bad enough that I felt it...
Read moreI literally just left Kohl's 10 Country Club Blvd. in Worcester Massachusetts. I was in there shopping for attachments to my kitchen KitchenAid mixer, which I had well over $400 worth of products already in my cart. I found something on clearance without a price and proceeded to an associate wish I would have I gotten her name, but there can't be too many pregnant associates working there with that said she gave me a price and then proceeded To walk to a fellow employee. As we were all pretty much in the same department, I could see that whatever she had been saying to that employee he immediately looked up at me and said OK. I see her. I proceeded about my business and a wonderful wonderful employee in the undergarments for girls section helped me find something for my granddaughter. All the while I am noticing that I'm being watched by both of these employees. As I was proceeding to check out the associate for lack of a better word, the pregnant one continued to watch me and that was enough for me. I am extremely ticked off at this point and I let her know Just how i felt being watched and followed as a potential shoplifter. . I understand the economy and the price is going up and all that over shoplifting yada yada ya KOHLS COUNTRY CLUB BLVD., WORCESTER MASS YOU JUST LOST OVER A $500 SALE AND I WILL NEVER WALK INTO...
