We had Father's day lunch at Texas Road house restaurant. Look we love this place so much whenever we go out of state, we look for a Texas road hs restaurant there as well. Unfortunately this year, we do take out sometimes and have not been too happy. They have THE BEST BREAD EVER! Unfortunately, 4x we did take out, our bread was burnt. My kids like their cheese burger with buttered corn. And we get extra bread per person. Sometimes we get less bread n its all burnt or both the extra bread n take out cheese burger is burnt n too hard for my kids to chew, or drinks forgotten or sources missing.. This has been very disappointing to us. So i called to complain n i got a lot of excuses. Now we are afraid to do take out. Dinning in, we don't have the burnt bread issue at all, ever, it has been our take out. I told the manager i spoke to that, someone has to look at the bread batch before the order is given to the customer. She said" sometimes the oven is too hot, its not one person who bakes the bread every day, the take out is not double checked n on n on and on, i was exhausted just listening. So we either check the order at the window when its given to us before we leave or we just dine in if we have time. Wish I could give negative stars for the overall experience I had in Target today with my family. The store is being renovated, but is in complete disarray. When we talked to staff members, we were basically told they didn't care. We have a call into corporate and I was just overall disgusted with the experience. As this is the closest target to my home, I shop here frequently, and this has been an ongoing issue since before the renovation started. Bathrooms are always disgusting, trash all over the floors, and the trash containers outside the doors were completely overflowing!!!
