If you are looking for the authentic doner Shawarma, this is not your place. They will give a chicken wrap and call it shawarma !! . I got the āchicken Shawarma ā which was 10.60$ (after tax ) , again it is not the doner Shawarma that you expect from a Middle Eastern shop. It had Mildly marinated cubes of chicken which was just stir fried and wrapped with some veggies and pickles. ( please see the image below ). The wrap did not contain any tahini or hummus. The chicken lacked any real Arabic or middle eastern spices flavor, felt it was marinated with turmeric and salt. but still overall it was OK. . For the Resturant Owner, the chef, and those who donāt know what Shawarma :- it is wrap consisting of meat cut into thin slices, stacked in an inverted cone, and roasted on a slowly turning vertical rotisserie or spit. . So this one Definitely not worth for the price...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCame here a cpuple weeks ago. Just wanting something halal, delicious and something that I didnt have to cook myself. Alhamdulillah this place was perfect. Ate a few plates from here now and when I asked the cook "is it really halal?" He showed me the packaging Mashallah. A place that is really actually halal without any shame. Very clean too. I have wildly high standards but for a restaurant in Worcester this is probably the cleanest place I've seen. They didn't mind all my weird questions and they even have prayer mats out if the time comes, you can. Its wonderful to see. The tea here is so good for some reason. Idk what it is. Always hot. Always fresh. The cook time was impecable. I didn't have to wait long at all. They could do something for appetizers though. Plenty of space for a night out with friends or even a fairly large family. I will be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStarting with the good the side salad was yummy, rice was fine, and the tihini wasn't too shabby.
The rest was not so good. My girlfriend and I got the lamb because I suspected the meat might come dry. It did. Not terrible, especially in the wrap where the sauce and veg helped it out. The real punch in the gut was the hummus. It was absolutely terrible, some of the worst Ive had in recent memory. Guys if you're reading this fix it. As a Lebanese man I have enough experience with the dip to tell good from bad, but even if it was my first time tasting it I could tell you it's bad. The "hummus" was just tihini with just enough of the other ingredients to ruin the tihinis texture. Theres no chickpea flavor (which should be the star), no lemon, no garlic, and not...
