Texas Roadhouse — Restaurant in Worcester

From the start the experience was subpar to say the least. They buzzed us to be seated we then waited until 6 other parties were seated, asked if perhaps we were forgotten (we were). Noticed other tables were sat with what looked like delicious rolls so we asked a waiter for some (the host didn't offer any and no waiter/waitress came to our table for a several minutes) only to have them slapped on the table with an attitude. At least they were delicious, my grandson was very hungry. Maybe if the staff wasn't country line dancing and singing all at the same time more work would get done. I was aware of this before going here so I can't complain too much on that aspect. It was just a bit too often I think. A waitress did finally come over, one of the more pleasant ones in the restaurant, and take our orders. My grandson - kids cheeseburgers with applesauce. Myself - 6 oz. sirloin medium, baked sweet potato with brown sugar and butter, green beans. Son's girlfriend - 6 oz. sirloin medium well, side ceasar, loaded mashed potato. "Known for their delicious steak" I've seen other reviews say.... When our meal finally arrived it was set down so quickly and the waitress basically ran away. We cut into our steak, mine was well done, my other guest's was beyond well done and both were almost completely cold. My grandson's cheeseburgers were cheeseburger chips, no exaggeration, I split one in half, there was no burger, just charred all the way through. His applesauce was soup. Let's talk about the sides. Our potatoes were so cold that her cheese and my butter didn't even melt! I can't speak of the green beans, they almost made me sick, they were mixed with something else. They tasted like what I would imagine would happen if baked bean juice fell into the green beans container. (The sides menu simply said "green beans") No one walked by and the waitress never came back to check on us. We ate what we could and waited for a half hour until the manager finally made rounds. I thought this was odd considering I had not seen waiters and waitresses in our row of tables so I'm thinking there must have been some sort of issue that we were unaware of yet that is no excuse for the poor service and disgusting food we received. He asked how everything was and my guest was kind (as we both were this entire time and even at this point) but she did say "well it was just ok". He then asked what was wrong and could he help. All we said was it was cold. Honestly at this point we just wanted to leave and get my grandson some food. He noticed my grandson ate none of his so I did show him the burgers. He took it off the bill and gave him some rolls to take home. That is the only reason for 2 stars on my review. We will absolutely never...

Just went out with a large group of 20 people, fully understanding that we would not all be sitting together. 10 of us were there 1st with 10 more arriving in 15 min. we were escorted to the back where all 7 or so booths were open (half the restaurant was unoccupied at the time) and our waitress proceed to attempt to put us all at 1 table (they have a pull out that extends into the isle). When asked if some of us could sit at the next table we were met with a confused look and told they needed to keep it open for large parties!?! At this point I will admit I was dumbstruck by the response and a bit rude in my explanation that we were in fact a large party and no one else was around, after 10-12 minutes of back and forth we were seated in the very table we asked for but had so much push back in obtaining (5 booths still remaining open). fast forward a bit, asked for drinks and rolls, drinks came and asked for rolls again. Rolls were delivered but we still had no plates or silverware on the table, one of my group went up and collected them himself. Fast forward again, been there for almost an hour and a half (this time frame does include the seating arrangement discussion) and still no food order was taken (not my choice to stay but at the request of the person we were honoring stuck it out a bit longer) and it was clear the waitress was dodging us for as long as she could and after the start of the evening I really can't blame her. Now, still waiting to place our order the waitress's start line dancing instead of attending to their stations, personally I say enough with the stupid gimmick and provide a better level of service to your customers. Got our order placed, most was ok, 1 person asked for a cheeseburger with no lettuce, tomato or onion, his burger was loaded so he told them it was not what he ordered. He was told a "new" one would be right out, new being the same one scraped clean, well almost clean of the undesired items with a fresh piece of cheese on top. Athis point he handed back and did not eat which was problably for the best because after the food came the tiny flies came with it, over all the experience was abysmal. Honestly haven't been to the place in years but clearly its on a downward slide, this is only based on my personal experience, yours might be better. But if I had 1 bit of advice for people, stop going to these types of restuarants (ones that use various methods to get you to eat faster, like blaring music to drown out peoples conversations, you know you do it TRH) pay a little extra and enjoy a bit of finer dining and you will never look back. Always great food, loved there rolls ,best Rolls in the world ,and of course who doesn't love there #1 Cinnamon butter. I always have 6oz sirloin steak w sweet potato with extra cinnamon 😋butter. So delicious like always. Celebrated with a close friend who got a promotion at work . Great food ,good service 👌. Had a great time/ awesome meal 😋. Tonight we decided to eat at Texas Roadhouse, we had Jess as our waitress she was very sweet & super friendly! No complaints whatsoever, came hungry 😋 & left super happy! This is always a great place to go for a steakhouse. This place has been here for over a decade, and they are still driving in a happy crowd all the time! The food was super tasty, and the steak had lots of favor, excellent service! We told the manager that we really liked Jess , and the manager said everyone loves when Jess is on !

Went here today with family August 17th,2023 Jen, our waitress was very helpful and super friendly we'd didn't even have to ask for refills she just refilled them for us ,that was so nice of her. The service was very good as always. No complaints. The food was great, like always. I got my regular 6oz Sirloin Steak Medium Rare with Sweet Potato and extra Cinnamon butter on side and house salad with ranch dressing. It's always great going to the Roadhouse. They're celebrating their 16 years of being in business in Worcester, MA. Happy 16th, Yrs Texas Roadhouse of Worcester MA, Woot, Woot! I remember when you guys first opened here, wow, time's flying bye.

Updated Review as November 4th ,2024, we went for my birthday dinner. The atmosphere seemed louder than usual. My mom's steak twice was wrong . It was overcooked and Medium Well., She asked for Medium Rare. Those were the smallest pieces of 6 0z Sirloin Steak I've ever seen . The taste wasn't that great, and the color of the meat looked questionable . Our waitress Mindy started off okay, and then it went down hill from there . The biggest issues there bathrooms you can smell the " URINE" a good 6 -10 ft away the Men's room. I almost slipped when to a staff member she really didn't seem to care. I insisted she call someone . The floors were sopping wet. It was very dirty and smelt horrible time for a bathroom remodeling and restaurant remodeling. It's differently showing it's age. I hope that this issue is resolved soon. We don't plan on coming back...
