My boyfriend and I drive into the parking lot and notice this Marshallâs is open! We were surprised and excited. We had no intention of coming to Marshallâs. We were coming to Andyâs but we thought what the heck? Letâs go inside. We get off the car and see people coming out with bags filled with merchandise. We walk up to the doors and realize the automatic doors were not opening. We were confused and my boyfriend tries to push the doors, maybe they were off? But the doors werenât moving. Were reading the signs on the doors and were just looking all around for more information if we need to wait for people to come out first or something. We notice 2 employees or âmanagersâ, a man and woman, in all black attire standing inside. Literally right behind the first set of doors talking to each other. The man made eye contact with us and the woman looked at us from the corner of her eye. They knew we were standing there confused and they continued talking. Literally like if we didnât exist and werenât standing there for over a minute. Suddenly the doors werenât transparent? My boyfriend then asks, âare you guys open?â The white woman (has short shoulder length hair and glasses) snaps back, jerks her head, rolls her eyes at us and goes âNO????â We seriously did not know they were closed. We had no information on what this store location is doing to insure the safety of their shoppers and what time they were closing. So the way she responded was really unnecessary and uncalled for. My boyfriend and I say, âyou see us standing here and didnât tell us anything?â She jerks her head again and goes âokay?âAre we 13 years old? Thereâs no need to act like that. If youâre unhappy then choose a different career because people donât need that attitude. It was the rudest experience I have ever encountered at a Marshallâs and we didnât even make it inside. This wouldâve been our first time but we wonât be returning. I encourage everyone to avoid Miss Karen because she lacks basic customer...
Read moreI am very disappointed in this location. Specifically with the âmanagerâ Megan. She was unhelpful, rude and (according to staff) bothered that she had to come out of the manager office to assist a customer. She lacks the most basic of customer service skills and compassion. She gave short responses and made it clear she had no intention of being any sort of assistance. Prior to speaking with Megan, I explained my situation to two associates, attempting to help troubleshoot and problem solve. Another associate who overheard the conversation began speaking Spanish to the those team members. I politely asked if they would share what was being said so I could offer alternative ideas in finding a solution to what should have been a solvable issue. After hearing my request, I was ignored and they continued their discussion in Spanish. It was completely unprofessional and utterly disrespectful, I cannot imagine ever shopping here again. I have had poor experiences at this location in the past, but never to this level. I hope this encourages them to do better. Professionally and personally. Lastly, I believe itâs important to add that there is one manager I have observed on several occasions that is courteous to customers and staff, appears to be on task, supports his team and has always been pleasant. Although I have not interacted with him personally, I pay attention to people and my surroundings. So while Iâm here, Darryl deserves some positive recognition. Hopefully Marshallâs hires more individuals like him so I can return to shopping any of their affiliated stores. I am saddened that I had to resort to writing a...
Read moreMarshall's is unacceptable. I went to purchase items, and when I got ready to place my items the next day in gift bags I noticed some of my items were missing! I looked in each bag to double check everything purchased, and in my car again to make sure the bag wasn't left behind. Turns out it was not at home. I called Marshall's the next day I found my items missing, and put me on hold to check the bins. The lady returned to tell me there was nothing in the bins. So I asked what could be done, since I clearly brought the items but did not have them. She told me nothing could be done. I even asked if a manager can check the video cameras for my items left behind and stated they couldn't do that! How can items not be in bins from one day to another??!! They clearly jacked the items. LUCKLY it was not of money that I lost, BUT what if it was a big purchase of something? Would of been screwed. SO guys please double check everything is in your bag or possession leaving the store or putting them in your car, because clearly they can't do anything. Not even did the young lady at the register bother to even tell me hey, wait you forgot this bag or something!...
