I recently had the pleasure of dining at Uncle Bud's. If you're on the hunt for top-notch bar food, this is the place to be. We kicked things off with the sampler platter. We dove into the cheese curds, onion petals, boneless wings, and the standout Birria rolls, all served with both marinara and Bud's sauce. Even with three of us, those delicious Birria rolls warranted a to-go box. While we initially had a slight concern about the color of the boneless wings, one bite dispelled any doubts; they were delicious. The cheese curds and onion petals were cooked to perfection.

Next up was the Birria pizza. The mozzarella was perfectly distributed on the thin crust, and every single slice had a generous amount of meat. The dipping sauce took the flavor to the next level. Of course, two pizza slices found their way into our to-go box. To wash it all down, I enjoyed a chocolate and cherry old fashioned. My only wish? A Luxardo cherry, but honestly, one drink was all I needed.

My wife and I have been going to Uncle Bud

s, bar and grill in Oak Lawn, IL for over 18 months. It is becoming one of our best places to have a meal and socialize. People from the area stop in for a cocktail and often stay for lunch or dinner. Larger parties can be accommodated. We have seen family gatherings and other celebrations held at Uncle Bud's. They have so many menu items to mention but everytime we have a meal there it is made with the best ingredients and is always so delicious. My wife likes the grilled chicken sandwich and the salads. Came here for a casual night out and ended up having such a blast. I had the taco salad, which was super fresh and flavorful, and also tried one of their burgers—juicy, perfectly cooked, and seriously satisfying. But the real MVP? A bucket of $2 Bud Light and Coors Light drinks! Yes, $2. Total steal.
