Fareway Meat and Grocery — Local services in Worthington

I've lived here for 5 years and have always had a good experience when shopping at our Fareway in Worthington. They are the only store in town that truly matches the other stores prices without the red tape. The Wal-Mart here stopped that completely! The meat dept. has amazing deals especially considering the service you get. They will even cut down whole, sale priced sections of meat to your order without a question. But that's really the main reason that I shop there - the customer service! They've allowed me to exchange frozen family sized dinners when I got the wrong one. They write rain checks when out of an item and always unload your cart in your car without you having to ask. I'm cheap, so if I can go into one store and know that I'll get the best prices because of the aforementioned price matching polices and great customer service to boot. Ya know? They even put the competitor's ad by the front door and at every register so you don't miss any savings, but you won't because they've already marked down the others sale prices throughout the store too! Fareway is a smaller grocery store but every employee asks how has your day been. They bag and bring to your vehicle with refusing to take tips. I always find everything I need and choose to go here instead of the bigger stores. Mario is fabulous if you get a chance to meet him he will brighten your day....
