Intracoastal Vacation Rentals — Local services in Wrightsville Beach

My family and I stayed at this beautiful and welcoming home last week and I can't express the amount of fun we had. Not only was it easy to find, once there you feel so relax that it was hard to leave. The home was fully stocked with all the kitchen/ laundry amenities you need for a week or long weekend. All we had to do was bring some basic food items for the time there. There was plenty of room for our family that we all had the privacy we needed.

The porches and yes there are many have great views from each angle of the beach and town. We sat outside each morning with a cup of coffee and watch the locals walk, bike or run by. My son even got up early one morning and walk across to the beach to see the sunrise and took the most amazing pictures. The walk to the beach is so easy that we adventure over many times during the day and night.

We all walk or biked into town at least once a day to The Trolley Stop for hotdogs for lunch and then for ice cream after dinner. Great way to break up the day and enjoy the area by foot.

My kids and I have been to many places for vacation and by far staying at this home has been the easiest and most relaxing vacation by far. It was a 5 star for all of us! We are already planning our next visit this fall.

At the end of September, we rented KB Villas C8 through VRBO. The link was never sent to me regarding this property and that is too bad. I feel that if I was able to post a review, Intracoastal Vacation Rentals would have taken my comments more seriously. But I will share them with you anyway. The reviews of this property online are fairly good – which makes me wonder if they are legit. The property itself is anything but ‘fairly good’. True, the location is great. The outside terrace is very nice.

I do not believe that someone owns this property outside of the rental agency. It is so run down. The furniture is so dirty, I didn’t sit on any of it. Grimy describes it best. The place is in desperate need of paint – a paint job on the walls. The A/C and heating vents are so rusty. I realize the condo is beachfront, but this is routine maintenance.

The beds do not have mattress pads. The pillows are ancient. The mattresses need replacement. The furniture is bargain basement, worn down some more.

The price per night for this condo is extravagant. We’ve traveled the world and we use VRBO and Home Away as much as possible. I’ve never paid this much for a condo and been this...

She went above and beyond to find the perfect rental for our stay in Wrightsville Beach during our daughter’s graduation from UNCW. From the thorough and helpful correspondence sent prior to our arrival to the very prompt attention to a request we had after arriving, we were very pleased with Helen’s & Intracoastal’s professionalism. Lumina Landing is a beautiful and well appointed property. Much gratitude to the owners for allowing renters the use of the elevator as not all beach rentals do allow that. It meant the difference of elderly grandparents being able to attend and join in the graduation celebration! Had those details not been worked out and the grandparents been faced with renting hotel rooms, they most likely wouldn’t have come. So many little details that added to a positive experience: quiet bedrooms with comfortable beds, great water pressure in showers, new high-end dishwasher, variable lighting options, state of the art tv cabinet, top floor with awesome ocean and sound side views, ample parking with the security of a garage.
