We had my son and family plus my wife’s close friend from Minnesota over for dinner. I thought that The Low Country Shrimp Pot would be a fun dinner especially for the Minnesotan.
The Low Country Shrimp Pot consists of:
The Low Country Shrimp High-Tider Steamer Pot includes: 3 lbs. Large Shrimp · 1 lb. Andouille Sausage · 8 Pieces of Sweet Corn · 10-12 Red Bliss Potatoes, Homemade Seasoning, paper table cloth (also used in cleaning up), and an instruction card. I ordered the following additions: Extra Corn and Potatoes $6.00, 2 dozen Little Neck Clams $20.00, ½ pound Andouille Sausage $6.50, 1 pound Kielbasa Sausage $13.00 and 2 Lobster Tails $30.00
It was everything that they said it would be. It was easy to prepare basically 3 steps the first is remove the protein add wine (beer or water). The second step is to steam the vegetables for 30 to 40 minutes depending on your type of stove. Step 3 is to add the protein back in the spices and cook for an additional 7 to 9 minutes. Step 4 is to drain and serve a delicious meal. Cleanup is simple, rollup all the shells into the paper tablecloth, put back in can and you are done.
One small criticism and that is with how the add-ons are delivered. Only the lobster tails and claims were in separate packaging the extra vegetables and sausage we're already mixed in with the regular ingredients.
I don’t usually give a five-star rating on the first visit. However, in this case says everything that they said it would be it was and you ended up with a delicious meal that was simple to cook and one that could be enjoyed by people who don't like shellfish (I would have to prepare separate meals.).
Periodically I will be ordering from them and I recommend that you do.
We had my son, his family, and my wife’s close friend from Minnesota over for dinner. I thought serving The Low Country Shrimp Pot would be enjoyable, especially for our guest from Minnesota. We ordered online and then went to the Wrightsville store to pick up our order.
The store was clean, and the staff was exceptionally helpful.

I plan to order from them periodically and recommend...
Read moreAfter calling in an order with multiple questions, picking it up in person and cooking it myself, Topsail Steamer is a convenient, delicious and easy seafood meal. The staff was awesome at answering any questions I had and very thorough with the instructions when we went to pick up. The inside is nicely decorated and the seafood is all layed out on ice like a traditional seafood market. But I will say, it was the cleanest looking seafood "market" I've ever been too. We decided on doing a customized high tider for a birthday party. All the food came out cooked and tasted great with Jimmy's way seasoning. The price is a little high but when you consider the conveience factor and the freshness of the seafood, it is well worth it. We...
Read moreWe ordered a bucket online, and within minutes they called to let us know they had run out of clams and deducted the cost from our total. We were staying at the Wilmington KOA and cooked the bucket on our cabin's charcoal grill. Took it off the grill after about an hour, and everything was cooked perfectly. The cajun seasoning was delicious, and the crab legs and shrimp were to die for. The corn was also excellent, and I am not usually a big fan of corn on the cob. For a family of three, we got the smaller size and added an extra pound of crab legs, and we had leftovers to share with our neighbors. We will definitely be ordering again the next time...
