Had an issue with my gallbladder, my husband and I chose to drive an 1hr and half and bypass 2 ER’s due to the reviews....let me tell you that I am so glad we did. The staff and doctors at Cherokee Indian Hospital gave the best care and service I have ever seen from ANY hospital ever. I have gone to many hospitals with family members and have had two C-Sections from different hospitals and they still didn’t have the hospitality that these wonderful people had and I was out of state on vacation when I had to go to this ER. You can tell that they truly care about taking care of their patients and making sure you and your family are as comfortable as can be given the situation. It’s sad to see this in an Indian hospital, but the care here is almost non existent. I went in with a back injury and severe pain. They did everything they could to just get me out as fast as possible. Luckily I know a PT and did a lot of research on my own. Physician Isabella Welch didn’t want to do anything and it wasn’t until I told her my symptoms required a test and had a panic attack that they did anything. Guess what, two herniated discs. Izabella was aggravated that I made such a big deal about getting a CT. This is what it takes! Demand treatment! Do your research! Fight for your health, no one has your back in this hospital but you. Be aggressive as it takes. I made a scene and had to got shot with Valium before they would treat me. BUT I...

Absolutely wonderful staff starting from signing in, to the nurses to the precious P.A that saw me! I used to laugh about people going to an ER for tooth pain till I found out OMG it's HORRIBLE! I had a very back tooth extracted and was from out of town and found thus Jewel of an ER! I had a fever and what turned out to be a dry socket and the p.a took her time to call the dentist's in the area although none could fit me in, the point was she was going the extra mile. She got me iv pain medicine and sent me home with some till I could get to my local dentist! It's great when you see that a Dr truly cares as well as the nurses!!!!
