This place is great and staff are very knowledgeable. A few years back we bought a peach tree from them, being that we were not satisfied with a cherry tree we bought the year before from another garden center. We did not expect this, but their policy at the time was too keep the fruit trees they sold for about a month after the sale to make sure the trees were strong and good fruit trees. We were disappointed not to be able to take our tree that day, but it was well worth the wait. Their staff explained everything in detail about why the wait and what we needed to do to make sure this tree stayed strongstrong and healthy, and we didn't even have to ask. Once home and transplanted that peach tree took off, and produced fruit by the next year. The cherry tree from the other garden center took about 5 years to actually notice any growth and it produced maybe two berries in that same amount of time. Unfortunately, we no longer own the house we did when we bought the peach tree, and though it was 15miles from th house, it was well worth the drive to Gordon's. Especially if you are like us, impatient and want a producing tree...

They have ALLOT of variety of misc. nicknamed plants and flowers, shrubs, and trees of most all types. Good selection BUT there prices are PATHETICALLY REDICULOUS!! does there prices include a person to come install / plant these plants, how about a ultimate lifetime warranty that they wont die or get any fungus or rot, how about possibly lifetime care// _somebody else going to come take care of these plants in my yard for me??? NO WAY IN HELL!!!!! no thank you!!!! I think I'll try Jason's Greenhoise and if THEY are too expensive also_then there is always Home Depot Lowes OR even Walmart to choose stuff from.but people are out of there minds to pay THESE prices this place wants for landscsping greenary NO...
Read moreTwo years in a row I fell for Gordon’s Garden Center in Yelm WA scam sale. This year there is a 20% off perennial sale until you get to the register only to find out there are exceptions. The sale must be on items of their choice. Last year they advertised a 30% off tree sale. Once again I got to the register and was told it’s not on the five trees I have on my cart because the trees were mislabeled and were not properly priced. The first thought that came to me was the owner forgot to raise the price before she put them on sale. My suggestion would be to advertise what is on sale such as flower types or pot sizes and not a generic sale saying perennial sale or tree sale. I will not be scammed next year because I will...
