On an employee referral from the Glow Skin Gym in Villa Park, I met Cookie from Artiora Beauty. I had said to my esthetician that I was having no luck finding a PMU who would work on my already microbladed brows and that I may have to go back to D.C. where I was from and get them re-done.

Then, Cookies studio, Artiora was given to me. Before I even got to my car, I texted the studio. We exchanged texts and pictures and she (Owner a cookie!) made time for me to pop into her studio for a in person consult. It was a match destined to happen, and I could not be more thrilled! Over 1 year I had been exchanging pictures and messages with 3 PMU from OC and LA (like, 100k IG followers!) and each asked me to laser (or saline remove) my existing microblading, so they could start over. This is despite calling their center a school and each one the greats in the business.

Cookie listened to my asks of a fluffier and denser look, she set my expectations reasonably, and executed- 3.5 hours later and I was done. I am so grateful she took a chance on me and trusted her gut that she could do this despite there being work beforehand. 100k followers or 1k, it’s really the talent behind the chair that matters. Great experience! I went in for semi permanent eye liner. I had liner done before so it was a cover job which is harder. It cost more than the original place I had it done but well worth the price. She was able to suggest different styles for one, didn’t even get that option before. I went with a smokey eye. I took her advice on the length of the eye liner and man I’m glad I did. It turned out so perfect. I have sensitive skin and she was able to adjust her needle so that it would work out well. Let’s just say the last place kept at it with the same damaging needle and it was a lot harder to recover from. I didn’t know changing a needle could have fixed that.

Artiora also has very great and clear pre and post instructions. You get a take home bag with antibacterial moisture wash, a moisturizer and the materials to apply the moisturizer.

The eye liner session came with a second touch up session as part of the package. Let’s just say I had to pay extra for this at the other place I had gone to the first time. Artiora is experienced enough to know that a touch up is part of the process and includes it in her price.
