THE WORST DINING EXPERIENCE !!! SAVE YOURSELF AND GO ANYWHERE ELSE. (Read all reviews mine isn’t the only when where customers became ill) I typically don’t write reviews but this place really earned it. To start it off, we waited 1 HOUR AND FORTY MINUTES, from the time we were seated to actually get our entrees and the place wasn’t even that crowded. Pretty ridiculous time frame to take a customers order and bring them food. THEY HAVE A 90 MINUTE PER TABLE TIME LIMIT BUT COULDN’T EVEN SERVE US IN THAT TIME. I was shocked but didn’t complain because I was there for a friends special occasion. That wasn’t the worst part, when the food did arrive, we wished it had just stayed in the kitchen instead. I was there with a few friends and we ordered different things but it was all terrible ! The flatbreads were bland, the Tri tip sandwich didn’t have much meat mostly pieces of fat, and my ā€œhomemade brioche bunā€ burger, was actually more of biscuit with a burger patty it was nothing at all like the pictures, I think they ran out of buns and legit used biscuits for the burger and sandwiches . It’s really hard to mess up a cheeseburger, but they managed to do that well. Our table was full of many different entrees but all flavorless. To top it all off, there were two waitresses to serve a total of 6 tables, yet we were repeatedly ignored. They would quickly walk right passed us, and we had to flag them down and stop them to get our drinks refilled, this happened repeatedly through out the night. It was like no one wanted to come over and face us because they knew we had been sitting there for 1 hour and 40 minutes with out our entrees. The other kicker is that half of our group ended up with upset stomachs after eating here. I had horrible stomach pain all night. I wouldn’t eat here again if it was the last...

i booked the reservation for my birthday. i have celiac diseases so i was really excited to be able to go to a restaurant and know i can eat everything on the menu. i checked the menu beforehand due to my allergies and found some things i could eat. when i got to the restaurant however they werent serving some of the items. i have a serious fish allergy so that meant i couldnt eat half the menu. i called in before i came and asked if they change any of the menu items upon request and the woman i spoke to on the phone said yes if its for an allergy. i confirmed with the waitress after we were seated if moderations could be made to menu items and she said yes as long as you had an allergy. i ordered just plain flatbread with cheese because i made it clear to her i had a serious fish allergy. (the flat bread was amazing) i ordered both types of the cornbread. (they were amazing) i ordered the baked potato without bourbon bacon or sour cream, she asked if i had a pork allergy i told her no i have gastroparesis, she had me explain it and said ok we can do that. but when i got the potatoes they were covered in the bourbon bacon. i couldnt eat them. i confirmed with her that i had ordered it without and she said it wasnt an allergy so the kitchen didnt make the change. .i ordered the salt fries and they where really wet and lacked any flavor. i also ordered the mac and cheese which tasted like cheese. it didnt really have any flavor to it either. if you cant eat or fish or anything with alcohol in it i do not recommend this restaurant. i would give it a 2/10 for the flat bread and corn bread. it was shocking as they even put alcohol in there house ice cream. it really bummed me out the whole experience especially as i had saved up all of February to be able to treat myself here for...

Great Food, but I have called on 3 separate occasions to place an order for take out and they told me they couldn't provide take out all 3 of those times. I've been in the restaurant business for 20 years now, the past 6 as a manager. I completely understand the the nature of the beast and I always try to adhere to the "unspoken" codes of customer conduct that are appreciated throughout this industry. On all three occasions I called at least an hour to an hour and a half before the restaurant closes to place my to-go order. This wasn't a request for an order 15 minutes prior to closing time, which is very inconvenient for restaurant staff. While I do enjoy going in to dine, because of the time frame, I thought it best to order to-go on these occasions so that I wouldn't spend time in the dining room while the staff was trying to get out for the evening. Also, On two of those 3 occasions, after refusing to prepare a takeout order for us, they said it would be no problem if we wanted to come in and eat at the restaurant instead. I found it pretty odd that they would rather me come in to eat 30 minutes before they close, causing the potential for me, as a customer, to be there almost an hour past their closing time to finish my meal, as opposed to honoring a to-go order that would have been picked up half an hour before their closing time. This is an example of the importance of displaying clear and up-to-date policy in regards to the restaurant's online menus as well as online hours of operation. If you have a cutoff time you would like to enforce for take out orders, it's very very easy to update that online. I really hate doing a negative review on a restaurant but I just couldn't let...

Wonderful, completely gluten-free dining. The hostess was uninformed about how to handle service animals, but otherwise the experience was wonderful. The food was delicious! We ordered two appetizers (cheese, crab bombs) and they were wonderful. We also ordered the Fish & Chips and a pasta dish. The pasta was excellent, which is not an easy thing for a gluten-free restaurant. Food was delivered with great timing and at wonderful temperatures. Knowing that the food was responsibly sourced and organic helped make our dining completely guilt-free as well. The bar has a good selection, and carries some gluten-free options as well as craft IPA like Sculpin and Delicious. My wife had a margarita she enjoyed, and I tried the gluten-free IPA. The atmosphere was subdued, with light pop music in the background at a reasonable level. The decor is fitting for the Oceans & Earth theme. There is the live music at times, which isn't my "thing", but is probably enjoyable to others. The service was marvelous, attentive without being smothering, positive and friendly. We took a dessert to go. I recommend making an appointment if you intend to arrive after 5 p.m. There is also a Sunday Brunch that we haven't experienced yet. Prepared to be patient with the hostess if you have a service animal as she might try to push you outside or demand documentation. I highly recommend this restaurant. Update: still doing fine after the pandemic, but reservations required. We have tried most of the menu now, the only thing I don't recommend is the fish and chips.

This review is long overdue. First and foremost, this place is amazing. If you read no further just know that and book a reservation! The food is outstanding, service impeccable, owners welcoming and engaged, and the vibe is fantastic. If you did not know this was a dedicated gluten-free restaurant you would not be able to tell by the food. We get here several times per year, making special trips from the Bay Area, yes it’s that good! At this point I’ve had well over half of the menu, but if you were looking for some special dishes to try first, I cannot recommend the crab bombs, stroganoff or s’mores dessert highly enough! If our kids could get us to drive down weekly for s’mores, they would. Just a quick word to those who have commented that they will not allow outside food in. Please understand that this is for the safety of their guests. Those of us with celiac disease or gluten allergies , come knowing this is a safe place. This is one of the few places we can eat freely without fear. Oceans and Earth, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for creating this amazing experience for your guests. Wishing you another 10 years and more!

Dinner was amazing! Our first time. Had the salmon and caviar starter....split the Wedge salad...shared the fried chicken entree! Finished with the special Smores dessert....everything was exceptional. Will be going again the next two nights until we leave the area...it's that good. Met the general manager, Barbie, and Adam, the Chef/Owner...both wanted to make sure everything was just right...it was beyond just right! Envious of the people who have this as their local favorite!!! Update, went three nights in a row...they really are that good! Had the 10oz filet (cooked to perfection), truffle fries (so good), stacked seafood enchiladas (unique enchiladas), flatbread with shrimp and the billionaire bacon (great flavor combo), banana Brule cheesecake (as good as it sounds), and the cobbler (amazing as we never see them GF)...all worth ordering again!
