THIS SHOP IS NOT POC
FRIENDLY. IF I COULD LEAVE NO STARS I WOULD. They had such a beautiful display and I was excited to purchase jewelry when I had gone inside. As I got close to the counter the lady behind it asked if I wanted something to carry my items, a seemingly harmless request. She even complemented my earrings. Despite me saying no thank you, she hands me a small wooden tray. It honestly looked like a display box for the jewelry that she had handed to me not one meant for holding anything. I only had two items in my hand, a bag of incense and a pair of earrings which were clearly shown. The tray she had given me was more inconvenient to hold than what I had been carrying. I looked around to see that NO ONE ELSE had a tray like me and she did not seem eager to give anyone else anything to “carry their items” which were similar sizes if not more than what I had been carrying. I was the only person of color in the shop, the woman was white. It did not sit right in my spirit and made me uncomfortable because it felt very targeted, as if she felt that I would steal from their store. I chose to save her time and my money by...
Read moreI love this shop and I love the staff here! My partner and I found our perfect wedding rings at the shop, and we were so excited that we wanted to go home with them right away! The shop had offered to make sure that the sizes were correct, but I really Wanted to have the rings right away for us. Within a few weeks, I realized that my ring was just way too tight. No jeweler would size it for me because it was made with such special materials. So I contacted the store, and the owner was such a delight to work with. He took the ring to the artist in New Mexico, who created the ring, and had it resized for me! I live in Boston, which is a few hours from the shop, and we got it all done by mail. I am just so grateful to the wonderful experience, the jewelry is guaranteed for life from the specific artist. David Rosales is the artist, and no other shop carries him , as far as I know anywhere in the north east! There are so many amazing Native American artists carried in the shop, and the jewelry is just stunning. Definitely worth a trip up...
Read moreThe Little Bull is a fantastic shop with high quality jewelry, clothes and many other items. There is so much in the shop that everyone in the family can enjoy. The atmosphere is welcoming, warm, professional yet earthy, and so engaging. The staff, including and especially Michele and Ed, are wonderful, polite, and fun to work with. Ed's skill in silversmithing is always evident. I had him make a pendant from a link of a bracelet that I bought from him since the bracelet was large for me and it came out beautiful. The pendant looks like a matching piece and is gorgeous on its own. He is knowledgable about his craft and the artists who make the jewelry he sells. He always has a few stories to tell as well!!! The Little Bull is a fun place to visit and I guarantee you that you won't leave without a cherished treasure for years...
