I have never left a negative review but I feel as though our trip here warrants one. We went here with our two children, 5 and 2 for some lunch. They were hoping for some chicken fingers and fries for lunch and when we arrived we asked the young man working the door if this was something that was available and he said it was. They are very picky and it is literally the only restaurant food they will eat. My husband took the girls in to order and my brother and I visited the adjoining burrito restaurant to order food for the adults. While we were over there, he was told once inside the pizza place that they in fact ran out of chicken fingers and all they would be able to give the girls were French fries so he decided to order them a cheese pizza to go with their fries. As I was standing in line at the burrito place, a waitress from Woody's approached us, told me she overhead us talking about ordering from the two separate restaurants and told us if we were planning on bringing our burritos over to Woody's we would not be able to do so as they can't have the foods "mix" as she put it. Mind you both restaurants are connected on the inside also with just a partition between the two. So fine, I went over consulted with my husband and we decided to order a pizza for us so we could all sit down and eat. We place our order for the pizza at the front counter, no server in sight, and after this I go retrieve my stroller from the door which a few employees saw me do. I maneuvered it in and and once I got settled back in my seat yet another employee came over told me that they do not allow strollers in the building. When I asked them if I could fold it up and put it behind us against the wall (literally the back wall no one could walk behind our table) he came back with "it makes it hard for us to have places to put our pizza and if we let you do it we have to let everyone do it." Okay fine. So now I'm a little irritated but we've already ordered our food and paid so I bring the stroller and leave it out on the sidewalk. Our pizza comes and it looked pretty good and we started eating and my five year old daughter asked for another drink. I go up to the front counter, the same counter that we ordered our pizzas and other drinks from, and order her an apple juice and the woman at the counter says "you can't order a drink here your waitress needs to bring it to you." We didn't even have a waitress come to our table even one time! My husband had previously purchased other drinks and our pizzas at the same counter and brought them back to our table which I explained to her to which she came back with a very snarky, "ohhhhh you must be the people with the stroller!" And then proceeds to let me buy an apple juice. What????? So now I know that they are probably mocking us back in the kitchen. I go back to our table wanting to get out of there as quickly as possible and two of the employees there keep staring at us, laughing and rolling their eyes. It was so awkward and of course now I think they've messed with our food, which I have no proof of but they were continuously staring right at us and laughing. Not a good feeling when you are eating in a restaurant. I don't think I have ever experienced such terrible customer service in an eating establishment. It seemed as though the wait staff and employees at this restaurant enjoyed giving us...
Read moreWOODY'S PIZZA DOES NOT ACCOMMODATE THE ELDERLY!!!! My wife and I, who are both senior citizens, stopped in for a slice of pizza at this location. Once we ordered a slice of pizza each, and an iced tea, we attempted to sit at a table, due to the many ailments we both have. We were immediately told by the staff that we could not sit at any table, because we only ordered a slice and a drink. I argued that the place was completely empty and that sitting at a table for a few minutes, was not going to interfere with seating for anyone else. We were told that this was their policy and that we could not sit at a table. As we walked outside, there was a hostess at the front door trying to drum up business. Along side of the pizza place was one picnic table, which was not being used. We asked the hostess if we could sit there for just a few minutes and were again told we couldn't. Ultimately, we walked a long block to finally find an empty bench to sit on and eat our pizza. By this point, I was so sickened by the fact that they completely ignored the needs of senior citizens, that I had lost my appetite. I'm sure the Commission on Aging would be glad to hear about this! We would have completely understood if the place was busy, but there was not one person seated at any table! I don't understand how someone could have such little regard for the elderly! I understand policy, but I also understand that you need to make accommodations for those with conditions! No one wanted to hear that we were elderly and needed to sit! I would never patronize this place again! After I spent nearly $15 for two slices of pizza and a drink, the least they could do was to let me and my wife sit for just a few minutes! Just something to keep in mind when you...
Read moreI recommend you try some place else if you actually like pizza or want flavor. Smelled amazing but literally devoid of flavor... even cold , the next day ( usually pizza tastes better after marring w flavors overnight " was just bland. Topping were sparse and sauce was just blah. Toppings were actually decent quality just voided of any flavor or seasonings. We ordered a village, chicken broccoli Alfredo ( which actually was the best tasting of the three, but also sparse toppings) and a harbor beach
The harbor Beach was a disgrace to pizza anywhere in the world... literally not a note of garlic and the " Roma tomatoes " literally teeny tiny dices ( smaller than fine salsa or popcorn kernals) of tomatoes sprinkled on the pizza , literally maybe a pinch of them and the basil.... I mean, literally minced pieces of it on top.. also sparse... This was the best part, though.... so gross and unsanitary, I arrived early, the girl answering phones, checking customer out ( touching screens, swiping cards, handling monies, etc...) turns ( obviously second nature and part of helping out team etc) turns grabs pizza wheel that one of the pizza guys just used, cuts pizzas then goes to fridge grabs container of minced basil out, peels back plastic wrap, STICKS her hand in; grabs/ pinches a bit sprinkles on pizza ... closes pizza box, brings to me. Never washed hands in-between service transactions to food prep nor wore glove.. etc. Completely disgusting. You know how many germs she just spread? .... I was so grossed out I didn't even want to eat the pizza...
I did manage to grab a slice that was void of any basil to taste but it was so lacking of any flavor I refused to consume anymore... Complete waste... ...
