Fun-O-Rama — Local services in York

This is not an arcade and the owner should be in jail from robbing people from a good time and their money. Half of the games are out of order. The ones that do work are rigged. The skee Ball machines did not register points correctly. Every single pinball machine we tried was rigged and had it set so that the ball is shot straight up and falls directly between the flippers or the flippers become immobile on the last ball. Every game we played said we needed 2 coins, to then ask us for a 3rd coin after inserting the 2 coins. We tried to play air hockey for which the air turned on but produced no puck. We gave up after wasting $5 and waited for our family to be done. We noticed another family putting in money for the air hockey and struggled like we did. The music is beyond loud that we hardly heard the man we approached in a yellow shirt leaning against the counter. We watched him watch them struggle and lose their money so we approached him to find out he's the owner. We complained and told him his games are all rigged and told him that we saw him watch us and the other family struggle without a care. All he said was "sorry you feel that way" to which we said he should be ashamed. I asked him how he sleeps at night to which he walked away and went out back and sent an employee to retrieve the puck for the other family. No offer to give us a refund or a sincere apology. WE WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN AND HAVE WARNED EVERYONE WE KNOW! I'm not even sure how...

I Spent hundreds of dollars over the course of my family vacay with friends of ours who happen to own property up here and when my friends son lost his receipt with 2200 tickets on it she went to the extremely rude and unprofessional woman running the counter to notify her in case some kind person turned it in and when she walked away this woman went on for five minutes berating my friend. She did not know I was with her so when my friend returned having found the ticket I asked for a manager. The manager who was helpful in trying to locate the missing ticket did not seem surprised but he also did nothing to rectify the situation. This was not an isolated event I witnessed the lady being just as rude to a child the day before who said the machine ate his money. There were numerous machines out of order and a few even ate my money but I knew this lady wasn’t taking complaints seriously. I understand that there are people who come in there and probably try to scam them for free games and prizes but this was inexcusable behavior. She was out of line and should not be in a business working...

Only getting three stars because of nostalgia and aesthetic. I've been vacationing in Maine for as long as I can remember and then some. Got my husband to fall in love with the area as well. This arcade tho, really just go to the boardwalk arcade in Wells instead. The games here aren't maintained. Just went an hour ago and 3 of the games we played weren't working. The staff guy was very nice and came over and opened them up to make them spit out the tickets but it was really just depressing how often I had to go find him. He obviously expected it tho. I was excited to win enough tickets for a yoyo, again nostalgia, and I did but the yoyo was super cheap. So cheap it doesn't even yoyo. I feel like this arcade gets a ton of traffic because of its location. Why can't they afford to fix games? Get better prizes? From now on I'll only be coming here to get my fortune from the fortune...
