Save A Lot — Local services in Youngstown

The store is always clean. Most stores don't give free bags out. They do give them, however many Sav A lots for example Akron, give you a free grocery cart. They have a HIGH turnover of cashier's. The cashier's are friendly even if they are very slow and elderly. They have people working managerial/ supervisory positions who are condescending, I guess that makes them feel better about themselves who knows, a job is a job. Do it well so people won't give 2 or 3 star reviews. You will feel safe in this store no worries there, no one is just hanging around outside as I've seen at a couple of other Sav A lots in Ohio.. This store got a 3 for bright and clean atmosphere also 3 for price and variety of items as well. It still needs to be more accommodating to it's...

Nice and clean, friendly cashiers. Produce section is really small, they don't even have fresh green beans. I love that they have pick 6 for $19.99 where other save a lots & other stores around town only do pick 5. I also found that the little selection that they have can be sold out. I went in for minute rice & They only had brown, and there was only 2 or 3 boxes of that on the shelf. I also needed buffalo sauce and only found 2 bottles of it on the shelf for $1.49. They also have a liquor store at the front of the store which I find convenient because there are only 2 others around that I know of and they aren't actually close...

I had a reply from this stores owner after seeing three stars, so allow me too clarify. I appreciate Sav a Lot replying it shows they care... this store is a nice store, it's clean and they are value priced. They do have speciality products area specific and have a well priced meat selection, walking past the armed officer makes us feel somewhat uncomfortable shopping there maybe they could monitor from the office w a sign posting their presence? And the cashiers are indifferent, not friendly but quick. I do shop here... occasionally just missing the service...
