I bought 4 appliances. 3 of the 4 had issues with functionality. I informed the owner within the 30 day period and he wanted to replace one of the items (a stove) with a similar stove I had seen in the store when I picked out MY stove.
I didnt want the other stove. It was older and looked...pretty much like a clunker I wanted the stove I purchased or I wanted a refund so I refused the replacement he wanted to give me, and I kinda dropped it. I didnt feel like going through the headache of fighting about it, I figured 3 good appliances out of 4 was close enough for the bargain prices I paid.
Then the fridge also messed up and started freezing all my stuff solid every night. This problem with the fridge developed 5 days after the warranty period ended. It has remained intermittent since then, which sucks because every time you get a week or two where the problem subsides you think its over....then everything freezes solid again.
Then the washer went out a few days after that....
I left a one star review 2 or 3 months after the original purchase (and well after the warranty period expired) and the owner called me and asked me why I wrote a bad review without telling him about the fridge and basically complained to me for leaving a bad review. I honestly felt bad for writing the review without talking to him about the fridge, but the fridge went out after the warranty period was over, and I wasnt happy with his "solution" when I was IN the warranty period with the stove. So I didn't see a reason to call him about the fridge. He promised a new fridge and stove even though the warranty period was over.
He sent me pics of the new fridge and stove and they were awesome. I asked how big the fridge was and he told me it was the same size as the last fridge. I thought everything was good and he would call or text me within a few days or a week to set up delivery. I didnt want to pester him, he was being cool enough to replace the appliances past the agreed upon warranty period...
I changed the one star review to a glowing 5 star....
Then nothing...I never heard from him again.
After a few weeks I texted him....
No response.
Its now been over a month and I'm sure I wont be hearing from...
Read moreEd (owner) is great. He works with you and your budget. Very responsive. He's got a nice selection of new appliances for cheaper than retail. Sometimes even up to 1/2 off of a brand new appliance. If you don't mind a bit of cosmetic dings on a new appliance, you can get one for a good deal. His delivery/installation guys are good as well, very courteous and professional. They seem to deliver to many areas, I'm located 30 min away and they delivered to me for a reasonable fee which was nice. They also haul away your old appliances if necessary for a small fee. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs to buy appliances around...
Read more2nd Update. Stopped by at 10:25 on a Thursday but place was closed without notice on Google maps or a sign on the door.
Update: it's been 5 months and washer still works perfectly.
60 day warranty on a used washing machine! The owner definitely wants customers to be happy. He inspects and repairs the used appliances before selling them and then provides a very generous warranty for peace of mind. I bought a washing machine that works well and was worth the...
