As a customer, my main concern is the condition of my car when I pick it up—not the excuses for why things went wrong. I brought my car in for a simple window tint, but each time I got it back, there was a new issue: first time, a major defect in the tint itself; second time, the door panels were left extremely wet; and third time, my battery was dead and the check engine light was on.
I understand that getting door panels wet might be part of your process, but as the car owner, I expect my vehicle to be returned in the SAME condition than when I left it with you. Instead, I had to come back multiple times to fix mistakes, and each visit created new problems. Rather than taking responsibility and making sure the customer was satisfied, your responses have focused on justifying what happened and shifting blame.
Customer experience matters, and simply telling me “it will dry” or “the light will go off” does not address my concerns. From my experience, your shop is more interested in defending its process than ensuring customers are happy with the results.
[Previous Comment] I am deeply frustrated with the so-called "State-of-the-Art" auto shop and window tinting service on my brand new vehicle. What should have been a simple procedure turned into an ongoing nightmare requiring multiple visits, each worse than the last. During my initial visit, I found large dust particles trapped beneath the film. When I returned to have this corrected, they somehow managed to soak my door panels, risking water damage to the electrical components. Most egregiously, after their third attempt, my check engine light is on, forcing me to pay for an engine diagnostic service that had absolutely nothing to do with window tinting. Their incompetence has transformed what should have been a simple enhancement to my new car into a source of constant stress and unexpected expenses, completely contradicting their misleading...
Read moreHave had window tint done here a few years ago. They did an exceptional job. At the beginning of February, I went in to inquire about getting the roof wrapped on my car. Pricing was good, and I trusted them because they had done such a great job previously. Paid a deposit and ordered the color I wanted the wrap to be, which arrived about a week and a half later. Great! A text was sent out to schedule an appointment. I replied and heard nothing back. A month went by, and still nothing until I received yet another text asking to schedule a pick-up time. I called up and asked which dates were available for installation, and they had a slot two weeks out for April 2nd. No big deal that it has already been two months. I dropped my car off on the 2nd at 8 a.m. for the installing. They had to keep my car overnight because they did have prior cars to work on, totally understandable. The next day, I came in to pick up my car after closing, and I’m met with my car that has nothing done to it. Apparently, they ordered the wrong type of wrap, so they couldn’t do it. Not a single call to me explaining the situation. Instead, I went two days without a vehicle. I know accidents happen, but during the two months it took for them to get an appointment for me, why didn’t anyone bother to check that the correct product was ordered, instead of wasting two of my days? They offered to reschedule or to give a deposit refund. I opted to just get a refund. Sad because I was looking forward to them working on my car and even sadder because I had such a good experience the last time but was met with disappointment and lack of communication. It’s hard to recommend them anymore. Ultimately, it’s not a huge deal, but just be wary of...
Read moreI do my best to review any and all services I receive now days, and I do my best to make my reviews honest and accurate. With that being said I have used two other tint businesses for window tinting over the last 5 or so years. Without any doubt the tinting job done by these guys was best I have ever had. You would think the windows came this way from the factory. There’s zero bubbling, all edges are perfectly cut and precisely adhered to the glass. When I got on the road after getting my truck back it reminds me a lot of putting on a very expensive polarized sun glasses. It’s the most crisp and crystal clear tint I have ever seen (note: I paid the extra to use the premium ceramic tint). I will need a few hot days to notice the lower interior temps due to the tint.
Now for the customer service side of my review; top notch A+ with zero complaints. They even went the extra mile to stay late to finish the job as promised for me which was greatly appreciated because I needed the truck the following morning for work.
You get what you pay for, and that doesn’t mean their prices are high because they were not. But I would have gladly paid more for the quality work and premium product I received, because I prefer to have things done right the first time and for good. Thank you State of The Art, I will be sending customers your way. My vehicle is you’re resume and it’s...
