Taco Bell — Restaurant in Ypsilanti Charter Township

If I could give this taco bell 0 stars, I would. I've lived here for 4 years and in the last 6 months it went even more downhill than it was before; which was barely tolerable. Waiting 30+ minutes for ONE burrito? when NO ONE was in line before me? Come on. Then when someone finally came to the window, they asked me to pull up since someone was behind me. Being that I was picking up food for someone else I kept my cool and waited. 10 mins goes by (totaling 40 minutes and counting) and someone finally comes out to my car window, tells me 'we're out of stuff to make what you want, sorry'. No refund offered, I had to request it, then got attitude when they had to give me my money back. Then a few days ago I pulled through (again, only person in line), ordered A DRINK, someone took my money, told me they were out, then offered my money back and a different drink. They then closed the window, and walked right past the drink machine, never to be seen again. After 5 minutes of trying to wave someone down, a man finally opened the window, tried handing me a bag and giving me a total. Im not sure if the first dumbass decided he was done working for the day and wandered off, but the fact that 9/10 people who work there act like they're shocked they're actually at a job is astounding. I've worked drive thru for many years, it is honestly not THIS difficult. I'll only go to the TBell on Ellsworth from here on out, at least they know...

I was here 3 days in a row around dinner time (5-6pm) because I was working in the area and had no time to go home for dinner. I wasn't super happy about 3 days of fast food either but I was on a time crunch. It was impossible to get food at that Taco Bell in less than an hour. I could have driven the hour back home and made tacos faster than getting food at this place. The first night I parked and went in and there was a line out the door that was not moving. I was looking at probably a 30-45 minute wait just to order the food with no telling how long to actually receive the food. I got back in my car and went through the drive thru only to be told that they were not accepting orders via drive thru at that time. Hence the long line inside. I ended up driving over to the Burger King that shares a parking lot with Taco Bell. Got my food right away. I was even chatting with the ladies giving me my food at Burger King and they were both former employees of the Taco Bell I just left. They said it's terrible over there. The second night I tried the Taco Bell again. I was in more of a hurry this time so I went directly to the drive thru. The line was wrapped around the building and not moving. Waited about 10 minutes (no movement in that time) and then drove over to the Burger King again. The third night I went directly to Burger King because I could see Taco Bell had a line out the door and cars wrapped around the building...

Love taco bell when it's done right. Last time I went, the staff was goofing off and yelling. Took quite a bit to get my food, and the shells were stale.

Update... 3/01/2019.....

After the service my uncle and I, had tonight, I'll stay away unless I'm 1000% sure Jaime is working. That is thee ONLY time you will get good, fast, HOT, and friendly service. It's pretty sad that 2 customers walked out after waiting 15 or more minutes for their orders to be taken. 2 of the kids were sitting in the office on their phones, one who had his hands down the front of his pants. He then was told to get to work and never even bothered to wash his hands. After 25 minutes of waiting for 1 chalupa box, it was brought to me with a nasty attitude. The chalupa shell was hard and stale. The taco was stale and broken into pieces and the burrito, well, the beans were so thick, I could have used them as cement for building. If the owner has any respect for his customers, he'll find a new crew and make sure they're responsible enough to handle their job. It was thee worst experience I've ever had at a fast food restaurant. Just ridiculous. Their "excuse", we're super busy. My uncle and I, were thee only customers in the store when we placed our orders. Get...
