Decided to leave this review in hopes the Owner or somebody who actually cares about the HR side of this company will read. I have tried to send this via email but I have not received a response so I will post it here. I am reaching out in regards to my last visit to your store on 50 Ecorse Rd Ypsilanti, MI. After communicating with you via email and receiving my loyalty points I decided to stop into the store to use them. 45 minutes before even entering the store I placed an online order and confirmed the selection of the products I wanted, ensuring the process would be quick and I could receive the products I confirmed. Upon arriving at the location I was informed that my online order will not give me any priority and had not been started so I had to wait in the queue like everyone else (including the person I held the door for lol) Frustrating, but I can understand if something happens the day of and they have to revert to a different solution. However this resulted in me waiting an unexpectedly longer time to just be informed that 80% of the products I ordered I was unable to receive. This was especially frustrating as I was watching them in real time attempt to put together my order placed over an hour, and was being informed that most of my items were unavailable. After spending money for transportation to arrive here and extra time waiting to enter the back room, I asked what the cheapest 8th available is, and was informed the options were $25 or $35. I reiterated the fact that my original order was already calculated for my budget so I can't afford that and asked if there were any cheaper options (considering that what he was offering would be almost triple my original product.) He informed me there was nothing else so I moved onto the concentrates where they were also out of what I ordered. He told me they are out of the 3.5 buckets and immediately pulled something different to show me. I pointed out the correct product I was asking for because it was sitting directly in front of the both of us and he said "oh yeah" nonchalantly without any concern or anything. I believe this is evidence of negligence on the workers behalf considering the fact that would have been the first product on the original order I would have received. After gathering what they had from my original order and proceeding towards the register another worker overheard me vocalizing my frustration and went out of his way to tell me there is a cheaper 8th of flower than what I was informed previously. I was happy to hear that but also confused because I repeatedly asked my original budtender the same question and it seemed like he dodged the question. I asked the new person if he was the manager on shift because I wanted to inform the manager this experience is worse than any other place I've been to and I don't want other customers to feel this way. He told me he was not the shift manager and I was shocked because he was the only person in the entire store, thank you Garrett for actually being helpful. He informed me the Shift Manager was actually the previous person helping me. I feel terrible complaining about this but in that situation I felt it was glaringly obvious that he didn't even consider that I am a medical patient with these specific products and strains tailored for my needs. I feel he was heavily misinforming me and intentionally trying to push more expensive products after withholding the stuff I originally ordered. I found that deeply disheartening coming from a place I've given $2,000 of my money for specific medical products that are hard to come by. I know that shouldn't justify "special" attention or anything, just the fact that a loyal customer feels so disgusted on how I'm treated repeatedly, even after I try to give them the benefit of doubt. Finding out the shift Manager was intentionally shady was the concern for this email. I am so disheartened by being treated like that, especially coming from the person with the most significant "title"...
Read moreI always drove past the House of Dank and thought it was a nice building. And every time I drove past I told myself that I would go in and see how the products are. I ventured into the establishment one day eager to make a purchase and experience the offerings firsthand. As I looked through the shelves with the assistance of an employee selecting my desired strains excitement pulsed through me. With my selection made I approached the counter and handed over my payment expecting nothing but a smooth transaction in return. However when the transaction concluded I noticed the cashier had failed to return the correct change. Calculating the difference in my head I realized that I was owed approximately $14.25. I Politely pointed out the error to the cashier expecting a swift resolution. Yet to my surprise the cashier's demeanor shifted their expression morphing into one of annoyance and defiance. Refusing to acknowledge their mistake the cashier brazenly denied owing me any additional change insisting that the transaction had been completed correctly. Confusion and frustration welled up inside me as I attempted to reason with the cashier, but my efforts fell on deaf ears. Growing increasingly agitated I sought assistance from another employee hoping for a more reasonable response. But instead of offering assistance the employee sided with their colleague their tone growing hostile as they demanded I leave the premises. Shocked and disheartened by the confrontation I realized that my attempts to resolve the issue were futile. With a heavy heart and a sense of injustice weighing upon me I reluctantly left the House of Dank vowing never to return.Though the incident left a bitter taste in my mouth it served as a reminder of the importance of integrity and accountability in business dealings. I’ve made my mind up on never returning to the house of dank because I know that from personal experience I’ve been to many different dispensary’s with better customer service and just better business ethics for the same price or even a better price. Thank you to all of the dispensary’s that actually takes the time to focus on customers and what’s going on in the moment instead of trying to move product as quickly as possible. For anyone else having any trouble at the House of dank located in Ypsilanti I would recommend going to jars cannabis in Ann Arbor. the prices are better and the customer service is way better and I will repeat it. Read moreI live right next to this place and will never go again. This is the only dispo I’ve ever been to that sold me indica flower after I explicitly asked for sativa. Sometimes I’ll ask for sativa and maybe they’ll say “how’s a hybrid?” or suggest a strain and say “now this one is a hybrid but I think you might like it bc XYZ…” I’ve never had anywhere outright sell me an indica and say it was sativa. After I asked for sativa and the bud tender suggested a strain, I asked to clarify it was sativa and he said “yes”. There should have been absolutely no confusion. After spending the weekend far more exhausted than usual and sleeping for hours longer, I looked up the strain I was sold, Cadillac Rainbow, to find out that sure enough, it was indica. Not only did they sell me the exact opposite of what I asked for and they claimed, after I called the store they were only able to offer me free carts and infused pre-rolls, which I don’t use, to rectify it. They would not simply give me an amount of sativa flower, like I asked for and they claimed they sold me in the first place, that was equal to the value I paid. I feel not only ripped off for money, as I ended up throwing away 28g of what others would consider perfectly good weed because I hate the effects of indica, I basically feel like I was drugged. They need to realize they’re selling literal drugs, pharmaceuticals. If a pharmacy gives somebody one drug but says it’s something else, that is considered highly unethical and illegal. I don’t consider this that different. Because of this situation, I wasted an entire 2 days either sleeping or feeling sleepy, and wasted about $60. This House of Dank location needs a thorough retraining because in my opinion something as egregious as selling an indica and saying it’s sativa should not be allowed to happen even once; it should be treated the same as a pharmacy selling the wrong drug because that’s...
