Denver Mattress — Local services in Yuma

Although the mattresses we bought didn’t work for us we got to see the underside of this place and we were impressed.

The sales people are super trained and very helpful. Prices and quality are on par with anywhere else in town. We worked with several sales people but mostly Moises. Moises was wonderful as all of them are. The sales people I talked to have all been there multiple years and have all visited the factory plus gotten additional training

The rubber met the road tho when we found our 1st mattress was uncomfortable. DM cheerfully arranged a different one and gave us full credit for the first. No charge. Not even delivery or pick up.

Unfortunately the second didn’t work for us either and I was seriously worried what they would say. Turns out they were wonderful and took good care of us, even picked up the mattress for free.

I can’t say enough good about Denver Mattress Yuma and our experience.

We have now ordered a mattress from Mattress Firm and will see how it goes.

Here is a comparison of the “big three” mattress places in Yuma-

Denver- knowledgeable and fair priced, big selection, free delivery and a solid (free) return policy. Highly rated.

-Matress Firm- Fairly well trained but nothing like DM. Good selection but less than DM. All prices are posted and you can negotiate a little. Free delivery but $250 handling charge of you want to return or exchange. They seem happy to work with you. Trustworthy and up front.

Sleep Number- We spent a lot of time there over several visits. They are trained in presentation but less on materials etc. Prices are not marked and they hide some costs that way. Watch out. They charge $250 for delivery over their already pretty high priced mattresses and if you want to return or exchange it’s another $250. So $500 total.

There is little selection, as the main difference between various models is the thickness of the foam that lies over the air bags. I have a burning feel at my hips and the various bag settings did nothing for that. I think it has to do with the foam they use.

They do not handle non air mattresses. The foam density also changes a bit between models but they are selling thickness and charging huge incremental amounts for that. No pushy or sleazy sales tactics from Oliver, just open communication, attention to our detail, and speaking truth and facts.
