JCPenney — Local services in Zanesville

Normally it is a good experience here at JCPenney. Today's visit was very upsetting. A customer service employee was very rude to my granddaughter and should NOT have addressed a little 7 year old about her behavior (she was simply playing around few feet from me while I tried on shoes but was not disrupting anyone or making any mess), it upset my granddaughter and made me very upset! She could've addressed her issue with me politely and professionally, NOT a 7 year old, scolding her in a mean tone. I told 2 other attendants of Chyllis rude conduct and to notify their manager about it. This wasnt the first time I've encountered her behavior. She was rude to me and my daughter earlier this year and I told her she was not to talk to us rudely. Management needs to know of her behavior and corrective actions should be enforced. We do not shop here for a bad nor rude experience. Also earlier this year, friends and I shopped here and she was rude to them. Her tone is unacceptable. Picked up the online order. The cashier was. Helping someone else when I walked in the door. I wasn't even very close to her that I was telling my kid that I was just going to ask where do I pick up an online order and she stopped her sentence and told her I can help you over here. She must have Mom ears. I told her that one of the items was a present for my kid and I wanted to make sure that they weren't going to bring it out unwrapped or visible rather. My daughter took my granddaughter there for a trim. Her hair is long full and very curly. She needs to be able to pull it up for cheer and the stylist was told this. She totally ignored what my daughter told her she wanted. The stylist said she specialized in curly hair and she knew what she was doing. She then proceeded to cut not trim my granddaughters hair. I’m not doubting her abilities but ignoring what the paying customer wants is unacceptable and unprofessional!!!
