So sorry you werejust rude to my husband! Ignoring New People who Come to the Shop You shouldnât ignore new people who come to your home shop. Nobody likes to feel like they arenât wanted. It is good for your conversation and good for the shop as a whole to greet new people who walk in and make them feel at home. Perception is everything. And lo and behold the customers that came in after me weren't asked for their IDs. Guess what the difference was between me and them? The answer is pretty, ahem, black and white.    Read moreStaff was very rude, refused to let me shop until they scanned my ID; their systems werenât working well and they would not let me look at product until the computer scanned my ID (I am over 21 and fully tattooedâŚ). Staff questioned my choice of product multiple times, were cold and rude, and generally ignored my attempts at lightening the mood.
