We have a TV Station that reaches 2million plus people and my husband and I go out and check out places to give great reveiws and sometimes ask them on the show or to give them aheads up on our show. So sorry you werejust rude to my husband! Ignoring New People who Come to the Shop You shouldn’t ignore new people who come to your home shop. Nobody likes to feel like they aren’t wanted. It is good for your conversation and good for the shop as a whole to greet new people who walk in and make them feel at home. Perception is everything. I have walked into cigar shops before and instantly felt a dark, cold, cliquish mentality and even tried to engage in conversation only to be ignored. You never know who someone knows. I was asked for my physical ID the literal second I walked in the door. I inquired if this was standard for everyone and the lady said yes. And lo and behold the customers that came in after me weren't asked for their IDs. Guess what the difference was between me and them? The answer is pretty, ahem, black and white. I always visit this store when I come to Zephyrhills to visit my dad, but today was the last day for that. Never again. Staff was very rude, refused to let me shop until they scanned my ID; their systems weren’t working well and they would not let me look at product until the computer scanned my ID (I am over 21 and fully tattooed…). Staff questioned my choice of product multiple times, were cold and rude, and generally ignored my attempts at lightening the mood. There was no one else shopping and they took so long to serve me that I was late for work (I had 15 minutes available). Unlikely to ever stop here again for any tobacco products. Just go...
