Lotus Home Hillside — Hotel in Phú Quốc

Awful management, doubtful place. We ordered 1 family room with 2 beds on Agoda service, for 2 adults and 8 year-old child. But when we came, smilling girl on reception tried to provide us standard room with 1 bed queen-size. She promised to bring a bed for our child (in the small room) and to find a big room «tomorrow », because now the Hotel is « full ». We rejected this offer and reminded that odered 2-beds room because we have a child. She asked his colleague (a manager) to find a big room for us, he made a couple of phone calls somebody and suggested to contact with Agoda service « solve this problem »!!! Eventually we just asked to return our money and left this damn dormitory. Five minutes later we stayed in the good and new neighboring Te Amo Hotel, when found a big room, friendly and caring managers and good price.

P.S. Agoda notices, Lotus Hotel have “a private beach”. It’s not tru, use the Google Map...

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff were kind and helpful, especially Andy, who assisted me with many things. The building is new, and they offer a unique breakfast experience at the Lotus Home Café, which you can reach via a Tuk Tuk ride. True to their name, they provide free Hon Thom Cable Car tickets, but be sure to arrive at the hotel before 4 pm for the face-scanned registration, so you can use the Cable Car the next day.
