A Spectacle of Epic Proportions: My Unforgettable Experience at the "Kiss of the Sea" Show My trip to Phú Quốc was truly elevated by the "Kiss of the Sea" show. I had heard a lot of buzz about it, but nothing could have prepared me for the sheer scale and artistry of this performance. It's not just a show; it's a multi-sensory feast that left me completely in awe. From the moment the sun began to set over the stunning Kiss Bridge, the atmosphere was charged with anticipation. The purpose-built amphitheater provides an excellent view of the stage, which is a massive 1,000-square-meter water screen. As the show began, the story of good versus evil unfolded with a breathtaking blend of light, water, fire, and lasers. The clash between these elemental forces was choreographed with such precision and power that I found myself on the edge of my seat. What truly sets "Kiss of the Sea" apart is its masterful use of technology and the incredible talent of its performers. The 3D mapping projections on the water screen were nothing short of magical, creating an immersive world that felt both grand and intimate. The acrobatic and dance performances by the 60 international artists were a highlight, adding a human element of grace and strength to the technological spectacle. The way they interacted with the water and fire effects was simply phenomenal. The narrative, a timeless love story, was both engaging and emotionally resonant. I was swept up in the journey of the characters, and the show's climax—a triumphant celebration of love and unity—was a truly powerful moment. And then came the fireworks. The 7-minute fireworks display was an explosive, sky-bursting finale that brought the entire audience to its feet. It was a perfect ending to an already perfect show. "Kiss of the Sea" is more than just entertainment; it's a world-class production that has set a new benchmark for stage shows. It's an experience that celebrates art, technology, and the beauty of the natural world. Whether you're a family, a couple, or a solo traveler, this show is an absolute must-see in Phú Quốc. It will leave you with goosebumps and a memory that will...
Read moreThe Kiss of the Sea show had some entertaining moments and may appeal to children, but overall, it fell short of expectations. Despite the hype and impressive claims—especially being home to the world’s largest water projection theatre—the production felt underwhelming.
Much of the show consisted of flashing lights, a large projector screen, and some scattered, fairly basic choreography. The only segment that stood out was a brief five-minute trampoline performance, which was decent but not enough to carry the entire experience.
Given the scale of the stage and the advanced technology available, the show had enormous potential for something truly spectacular. Unfortunately, that potential wasn’t realized.
In addition to the performance itself, the organization around the event needs serious attention. There were no clear protocols for lining up, and the entrance experience was chaotic—people pushed and shoved, and even those trying to queue properly seemed confused about where to go. For a large-scale attraction, better crowd control and clearer signage are badly needed.
Phú Quốc itself is a beautiful island with so much to offer, but this show didn’t reflect that vibrancy. As someone who wants to support my home country and see it thrive, I truly hope the production is reimagined and improved in the future. As it stands, it simply wasn’t...
Read moreI had the opportunity to watch the Kiss of the Sea Show, and overall, it was a very enjoyable and memorable experience. The show is clearly designed to leave visitors with a sense of joy and wonder, especially thanks to the impressive use of technology, lighting effects, and fireworks.
The venue was clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall comfort. There were plenty of seats available, so even though the audience was large, it didn’t feel overcrowded. In terms of ticket pricing, I found it quite reasonable considering the quality of the performance and visuals.
That said, there are a few areas that could be improved. For example, it would be nice if a drink was included in the ticket package, especially given the warm weather and the duration of the show. A small touch like this could go a long way in enhancing guest comfort.
The main point of critique for me lies in the storyline of the show. While the technology and fireworks were stunning, the theme felt unclear and somewhat forced. I had trouble following the plot or understanding the core message behind the performance. It might be worth considering a redesign of the storyline to make it more cohesive and meaningful. A clearer narrative would help the audience connect better with the visual elements...
