Tomorrowland W2 2024
Returning to Belgium for a second time to attend TML for their 20th Anniversary was a fantastic decision!
Choosing to attend Weekend 2 turned out to be the best choice.
Hardwell, Swedish House Mafia, David Guetta, Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, B Jones, and our very own Will Sparks, they were the highlights for me.
They are more, many more, but my mind may have been a little altered, and I can't remember who they were atm 🫠😂
The food was good (not as good as last year), and the drink choices were pretty great.
Seeing so many flags from so many different countries, it's a really beautiful thing to witness.
Not that this has anything to do with organisers, but the weather was on point this year - warm and sunny every day☀️
But more importantly, we didn't get rained out like last year, lol
Choosing Dreamville yet again, It was a costly and long trek from Australia, but one that's totally worth it, in my eyes, at least!
People from all over the world, all coming together to a tiny little town in Belgium for a 3 day edm festival, Tomorrowland is just one of those festivals that I think most people should experience at least once in their lifetime 🫶

FREE ENTRY!
Big park with 7 statues of wooden trolls and many bare foot tracks to experience.
The space is quite big, so I reccomend after leaving your car go to find information point and take a map or download it from the site or use their app.
Tricky fact: on the map there are 6 points showing the trolls, because in one point there're two together.
Make sure to take hats, sunglasses, a lot of water to drink. Be prepared if you go in warm months. It's better to go that time especially if you want to use bare foot paths with a lot of textures included. As well as the water point at the end where you can clean your foot and put shoes again.
Space is full of trees, so there's quite a lot of shadow. But even there, you still feel the sun XD Be careful!
I would definitely reccomend this place for the all day trip with friends or family or even alone. Great spot to make nice photos and rest surrounded by nature.

Wow. What a beautiful piece of land! Take your dog if you have one and enjoy the scenery. There are even barefoot trails for those who want to be more in contact with nature.
Finding the seven trolls across six locations is a lot of fun with kids and you can spend a couple hours wandering and getting exercise if you take your time. Bonus points for having a free WC! Very unlike other European places!
The mosaic tiles at the north end of the park are also a beautiful thing to see and, with free parking nearby, it can’t be beat.
Be warned! The mud is extreme. Bring the appropriate attire regardless of when you visit!

Fort Breendonk makes the biggest talkers silent for sure, what an impression it gives to a person..
They did such a good job explaining the history at the entrance and the audioguide guiding you through the whole fort Breendonk. The storyteller definitely made you feel like you are living through that same hell.
Needless to say the things that happened here, are unhuman and just pure horror.
We went on a sunny day of 25 degrees, still it was around 5 inside the cold bunker, better dress warm!
The audio guides are available in Dutch, French, English, German and Spanish. Though the information panels are mostly only Dutch and French but the many audio guide spots should not let you stop from coming if you’re not speaking Dutch and French only.

It's a must for all tourists who wants to know a little history of this concentrationcamp. Take your tissues with you.
I didn't add pictures from inside. Because this is something you should experience in real life.
There is an individual electronic guide which will take you on a Journey of 2.30h to 3h.
Available in French, Dutch, English and Spanish. Maybe even more. But I had a device holding these languages.
I recommend it.

The visit is long and you should take about 3 hours if you want to listen to everything in the audio guide. But it’s really worth it. Very clear and detailed. Though if you are very interested in WWII history and want to thoroughly listen to everything, avoid weekdays. There are several school groups with guided tours and normally too much noise that makes it difficult to listen and focus on the audioguide.

Visited Breendonk in family, with 2 teenagers. It was cold outside, and looked even more inside which helped better understanding of the environnement these people had to live. Such places are important to remember, to understand, to materialise how horrible was this war and how horrible some people can be.
Visit, look, hear, feel and take your time to think about it...
Visit takes around 2,5 hours.

The castle is a nice place to visit. It's quite interesting to visit the former residence of the d'Ursel family. There are mostly portraits and some old furniture on display. Quite a few chambers are dedicated to the Brussels residence of the family, that was torn down in the 1960's. Furthermore, the surrounding park is worth the walk. Quite a part of it feels more like a forest then a park really. It has some larger grassy fields for kids to play on. For children, there is very little to do. A small playground or something would be nice.

As a vintage lifestyle lover we had a wonderfull event here at the castle feasts. The people responsible for the occasion did a wonderful job. After all the location is beautiful and has a wonderful history, though going upstairs in the chateau what’s not allowed I took a look and found out it’s a museum. Would’ve liked it more to just see the interior completely with furniture instead of signs. After all a great day!

Nice place to bike or walk around and explore the forest. They have picnic tables to enjoy your food or the grass to lay on. Nice to go with the kids. Also the area is perfect bike around.

Prachtig gerestaureerd kasteel.
