Karaalioglu Park (Turkish: Karaalioğlu Parkı) is a large park in Antalya, Turkey. It is just south of Kaleiçi in the city center, easily reached on foot or by tram. The mayor's office, Municipal city theater, and an ancient fortress called Hıdırlık Tower overlooking the Roman harbor, view of the cliffs and the broad blue expanse of the Gulf of Antalya are major attractions of the park.

Urban History museum is planning to the park as of mid 2000s.

There are the following monuments and statues in the park: the Nâzım Hikmet monument at 36°52′50.4″N 30°42′14.3″E which was created in 2010 on the 47th anniversary of the poet's death, the statue of Don Quixote at 36°52′47.2″N 30°42′14.9″E, the Worker and Son monument at 36°52′45.0″N 30°42′16.9″E, the Hand sculpture at 36°52′41.5″N 30°42′20.6″E and the Frog sculptures at 36°52′45.6″N 30°42′33.4″E.1]

Antalya (Turkish pronunciation: [anˈtalja]) is the eighth-most populous city in Turkey and the capital of Antalya Province. Located on Anatolia's southwest coast bordered by the Taurus Mountains, Antalya is the largest Turkish city on the Mediterranean coast with over one million people in its metropolitan area.[2

The city that is now Antalya was first settled around 200 BC by the Attalid dynasty of Pergamon, which was soon subdued by the Romans. Roman rule saw Antalya thrive, including the construction of several new monuments, such as Hadrian's Gate, and the proliferation of neighboring cities. The city has changed hands several times, including to the Seljuk Sultanate in 1207 and an expanding Ottoman Empire in 1391.[4] Ottoman rule brought relative peace and stability for the next five hundred years. The city was transferred to Italian suzerainty in the aftermath of World War I, but was recaptured by a newly independent Turkey in the War of...

In the Green Haven of Karaalioğlu Park, Antalya

Antalya is home to many parks, but Karaalioğlu Parkı stands out for its vast size and well-preserved nature. This is my second visit since settling in Antalya for a month. The park left a lasting impression the first time, but today, it feels especially lush and vibrant.

The sky was clear, and the trees were full of life. The Mediterranean shimmered in transparent hues, and the distant Olympos Mountain stood majestically like a painting. The park exuded an air of serenity. Many locals sat perched on the rocky outcrops, gazing at the sea, lost in thought. Some sat in silence, deep in contemplation, while others exchanged quiet conversations in hushed tones.

On the way to the park, the weekend market added to the charm of the stroll. From cheese and honey to an array of colorful Turkish desserts, the market was brimming with delicacies. The sweet aroma of treats wafted through the air as locals skillfully selected their desired goods with familiarity and care. Simply walking through the lively market, taking in the sights and scents, made the experience even more delightful.

The walking paths here are filled with peace and happiness. It’s a place where one can step away from the demands of daily life and reconnect with oneself. Breathing in the fresh air, I am reminded of the beauty in life’s simple pleasures. Today, Karaalioğlu Parkı has gifted me a truly...

Main Attractive and the best view point of Antalya, also to enjoy the sunset while in the heart of the city. It is joyful place for the families with kids, the teenagers, elderly people and the rest of. There is possibilities to have a light peaceful picnic during the covid. There is park for the skates and other 2/4 wheeled equipments and the devices, even for the drones it is nice place due to the view.

This place also known as the Old Antalyaspor Stadium, the football team of Antalya. It was partially closed for long time to reconstruct the park areas and the carpark , . It is getting better day by day. Just there is still some constructions to be finished, due to this, there may be chance of noise while they are working!

Around the area there are hundreds of bars, cafes and the restaurants, hostel and the hotels.

Walking distance to the Clock Tower while enjoying the...

A Hidden Gem in Antalya's Historic Heart ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kılınçarslan Mahallesi, tucked away in the heart of Antalya’s old town, is an absolute delight for those seeking charm, history, and a touch of serenity. Strolling through Park Street feels like walking through time — narrow stone-paved lanes, beautifully preserved Ottoman-era houses, and the scent of jasmine wafting from garden walls. What truly elevates the experience is its proximity to Karaalioğlu Park, where you can unwind under palm trees with sweeping views of the Mediterranean. Cafés and boutique hotels blend seamlessly with the historic atmosphere, offering quiet escapes just minutes from Antalya’s vibrant centre. Whether you're a photographer, history lover, or just someone looking to enjoy the quieter, more authentic side of Antalya — Kılınçarslan is a must-visit. Peaceful, picturesque, and deeply rooted in the city’s heritage.
