I love coming to 7brew to try all their drink options. I am a Type 1 Diabetic. I went the other day and got a Large Iced Banana Bread Blondie with extra caramel drizzle the syrups that come in that are banana, vanilla, hazelnut, and caramel. I know that three out of four of those were sugar free but wasnât sure about the other one so when ordering I asked the person taking my drink order âDoes this drink came with all sugar free optionsâ and she said âYesâ. I got two of these large drinks one sugar free option and one regular option. As we pulled up to the window the girl already wasnât friendly not only to us but to her coworkers. We paid and she handed me my drinks I ordered three drink in total two coffees and one energy. The coffee was not labeled âsugar freeâ so I asked her as she came back to the cashier stand if by chance she knew which one was the sugar free coffee and she instantly had an attitude and said âNo, do you know what order I handed them to you in?â I said âNoâ assuming I didnât have to pay attention because the cup would have been marked. After saying no she said âWell I donât know then because they sit them in a specific order on the counter before we hand them to youâ. No wanting to cause a scene I just said âOkay thank youâ and drove into a separate parking lot to figure out which one was the sugar free coffee. This situation is very dangerous for a diabetic. We chose to have sugar free options because we donât have to take insulin for it and it helps are blood sugar numbers stay in range. While in the parking lot I looked up the flavors they offer and noticed that even though I asked for sugar free the drink wasnât sugar free because their banana syrup doesnât come in a sugar free option which when ordering I was told my drink can be made in a sugar free option. Which at the end of the day I can figure out how much insulin I need but itâs the point that I was told it can be made SF and it canât be. If I hadnât had looked at the flavors and just drank the drink my sugar would have skyrocketed because I didnât take insulin for it thinking my drink was SF. The girl at the window acted very annoyed that I didnât pay attention at the drink order to know which one was mine when she told me that the people making the drinks sit them on the counter in a specific order so the cashier can tell the customer which drink is which. At the end of the day I love 7brew but I believe they need to be aware and informative about their sugar free options. For example when I ordered my drink the girl shouldâve said âWe can make it sugar free but just letting you know our banana syrup doesnât come in a sugar free optionâ instead of telling me âYes we can make it sugar freeâ. As for the girl at the window and how they do their drink order they should just label the drink SF so itâs not the customers responsibility to remember what order the drinks were...
Read moreCAUTION TO ALL TYPE 1 DIABETICS My daughter and I wanted to try the iced banana bread blondie with extra Carmel drizzle. I asked if it was possible to make 1 completely sugar free since my daughter is a type 1 diabetic and they said yes no problem. So we ordered 1 sugar free and 1 regular. When handed our drinks they werenât labeled, I asked which one was the sugar free version to which the employee said do you remember how I handed them to you? I said no and the employee said she had no idea which one was sugar free then. This is a dangerous problem for any type 1 diabetic. A person with type 1 diabetes has to positively know if they are definitely getting a sugar free version. If not they have to be able to figure out how many carbs are in a specific drink in order to take enough insulin to cover that drink. Too much insulin can cause dangerously low blood sugar and not enough insulin can cause dangerously high blood sugar. Their drinks are amazing but their staff needs to be trained better in the products they are selling. The company canât sell sugar free options if the product is not 100% sugar free and they 100% need to have the drinks labeled when given to the customer. Testing both drinks with sugar meter showed that neither one was completely sugar free. This is unacceptable. You canât play with peopleâs health!!!! Do...
Read moreItâs sad that the day came in which I had a terrible experience. I arrived with the line about to be out onto the street so was unsure if time wise i was okay to get my toddler in time from preschool. I wouldâve been okay time wise but of course due to training and apparently the girls taking order the order mixing up the lines caused delays in which I was waiting 20 minutes for my drink. I realized 5 mins into waiting they were taking forever and was going to be late to pick my kid up, I tried getting their attention MULTIPLE times to tell them my situation so I can come back for my drink at the very least ( it was already paid for) but no I couldnât get anyoneâs attention until I was already next in line. The manager Cassandra or something with a c heard my concerns, apologized and said sheâd be making my drink âon the flyâ which I meant comped or something but no it just means they make it priority but I was literally the first in the line and drink shouldâve been being made already. They made it and that was it. So disappointed in the lack of awareness that it was their employees mistake for causing the line to take so long and not comp my drink at the very least. I was severely late to...
