This was the best breakfast ever! There were five of us, and we enjoyed omelettes for four of us, one byrek, pancakes to share, and orange juices. We were pleasantly surprised with a delicious addition of fresh watermelon. Everything was homemade and cooked on the spot. The hospitality of the young gentleman who served us was outstanding. While we were about to order more food, he recommended that we finish our omelette first, and then we could order more if we wanted. We usually eat large portions, and the portion sizes here were fantastic!

We found this gem on our last day in Berat. We went for breakfast and we were so impressed that we came back for dinner. A beautiful family owned business with amazing food. For breakfast, we tried the fried eggs, bruschetta, mixed salad, and avocado eggs. For dinner, we had the stuffed aubergine, olive, and onion salad, as well as Berati meatballs and steak. All food exceeded our expectations. It was by far the best food we had in Berat. The salad was extremely fresh, and it is organically grown on site. Check the attached pics. As others said, best breakfast in Berat! Delicious, generous portions, and really beautiful garden to sit out and eat in (as well as tables inside). I didn’t feel rushed at all so spent about an hour or more here. The only thing I would say is that the dog, although super cute, can mooch a bit too much, which made it hard to relax and enjoy my breakfast (this only seemed to be the case when I had meat). I think the owners could maybe keep an eye on this so that it doesn’t bother customers too much.
