I love Buenos Aires but when I return I will not stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly, the rooms are dated but clean. However, I had several maintenance issues during my stay which I was not surprised about given the age of the hotel. The first day, I noted my toilet was broken and the door to my shower would not stay closed so water would spill out to the floor. A maintenance person came fairly quickly to remedy the situation. The next day whatever magnet strip placed on the door to fix the issue had fallen off and was presumably thrown away by the cleaning staff. I called 4 times and spoke to someone in person at the desk twice- SIX times total about this issue over 5 days to get the door fixed. I could not take a proper shower- I either had to hold the door with one hand or let the water spill to the floor. I did this every day, cleaning up the water with several towels. I slipped once day on a wet area I missed when cleaning up. I am here, on day 8, after speaking with the front desk staff again over 10 hours ago. They again promised me someone would come right away. No one has come. There is no manager on the weekend. No one has checked or followed up with me. For a “luxury” hotel, I would expect to be able to complete my bare hygiene needs daily and for the customer service to be responsive. I am a paying customer, only expecting what should be the bare minimum.|Important to know ahead there is a good breakfast buffet but not allowed to remove any...

Summarizing my review before all the text below: I think it is a good option for tourists but not the best option for business travelers.

Everything is a bit outdated in this hotel. The rooms are good, but not updated, so the floors make noise, there are not plugs available everywhere, TV is not smart, and during night can be a bit dark. Cleanliness however is superb. My room smelled a nice cleaning the whole time. The hotel is not great for holding small meetings and working, since it is really hard to find a plug in the lobby and there are not a lot of available working stations. The service is good, but not the most friendly. Everything I needed, I was helped thought. But there were always a bit of bureaucracy and attitude envolved. The food is extremely expensive considering the quality delivered and specially the prices in Argentina. I've paid ~6USD for 2 empanadas that were sold for less than 1USD outside the hotel. Things that more modern hotels do, such as offering free water or water filling stations, are charged a lot in there. Gym was very poor and badly maintened. They have just one machine and that was broken throughout my whole stay. The location is good, close to the subway and several touristic places. But not the safest at night and I've heard a few cases of pickpocketing...

The hotel is very well located, it's in the heart of the city Centre, and that Part deserves 5 stars. On the other hand, the rooms are clean and comfortable but there may be noise specially in the mornings because of the cleaning ladies: 3 stars. The staff need to be more attentive and helpful because SOME members do the things in a bad or angry mood: 2 stars. You may have some issues with the Internet connection as there are some parts where the signal is very poor, and some others quite good: 2 stars. The gym is very small and lacks tredmills, bicycles and space: 1 star. The terrace has a wonderful view of the city, with a small but nice swimming pool: 5 stars. The restaurant's menu is limited but the food is quite good and the waiters and waitresses are friendly and helpful: 5 stars. All in all, is a decent option for a relatively reasonable price, hence: 3 stars.

Nice Hotel in the Center of Buenos Aires. Next to the obelisk av. 9th july, this means directly in the city. It is possible to do all by foot. Opposite is hop on-hop off station for a city sightseeing The rooms are realy nice, the eezeption employees are very very friendly and helpful, specialy the guy who is named Christian. He speaks very well german. For us helpful. The employees of the breakfast room could be a little bit more friendly. The roomrate is favourable. In the 9th floor is the outside terrace with a bar and swimming pool. It is possible to sit here and have a drink with nice view.We can highly recomand this Hotel 👌👍👍👍👍👍👍.Absolutely we will come again in 6 - 8 months when we will do our south america round trip with a stay in Buenos Aires.

I spent almost a month a this hotel. It's being advertised as 5-star hotel - it should have max 3-stars. I've never seen worse staff in any hotel. You ask for a beer at the bar "sorry no beer sir", we kept hearing this for 5 days - what was the problem? They just had to connect the keg! This is just pure comedy. Barely anyone can speak english. Breakfast is super simple and there's exactly the same every day. Rooms need renovation. Location is nice, but be aware - this is banking area, crazy amount of people on weekdays, emptyness on weekends. If you're looking for a nice hotel - look elsewhere.
