Let’s start review how I got to this place I was approached sales person on La Florida St and was told this was one of their most upscale shows in the city of the best. They took me took me an office and was showed a mini movie they promised great dinner and great show plus complimentary birthday acknowledgment which I never got at all. The price in usd $75pp I went for it bc they claimed to be an upgrade with included full drinks alcohol and soda plus an added tango dance class. Location was conveniently located to my hotel so no issue. The palace theatre is beautiful no doubt about it. Let’s talk about the services. We arrived friendly service, they provide a menu with all in timing, the menu has only 3 option in each category starter, dinner and dessert. Great music playing pending our menu order. The dance class was fun and exciting something new and great experience. The menu started the salad is 80% cheese and 20% salad, the empanadas were 80% bread and 20% meat. The soup was ok. The actual dinner I got the chicken the portions were minimal but satisfying not a lot of food to make your money worth you’re better off getting the stake it’s a big portion. The fish plate was pretty good as well. The desserts are very basic in all my opinion not a big deal. The show itself it’s wonderful superb and espectacular show to be honest. The show itself is worth the price. The only reason I would give one star less was bc other members in the audience shared their pay experience and they were charged less than I did which means that these sales people work in commission and I did not get what I was promised not even an acknowledgment. Yes the service was great we got pick up and drop off from hotel room in a very comfy van. Communication was great and location was wonderful. Also I was told I was going to be seating at least 2-3 tables from the stage that didn’t happen either although where they sat us was ok bc we didn’t have to be looking up, the distance was good. Also the dancers will go around taking pictures with guests at no obligation you don’t have to take photo but you will be given option to buy before you leave at the end of the show. They wanted $8,000 per photo.

Poor customer service. One star is for the talented performers. Nothing else is good. My friend and I booked the tango show only which starts at 10 p.m. since I read too many bad reviews about the food. We got there by 8 p.m. and asked if we can request good seats. The man at the box office told us there are no bad seats. So we went somewhere else to eat. When we returned at 9:45 p.m., we were led to our seats. It was the very last table and farthest from the stage. As soon as we got seated, they plopped down the wine menu and food menu. My friend tried to explain to the ushers and waiters that I have poor eyesight and we would like to be seated in the empty tables in front of us. They all say noted us. I realized now that they put us in the worst seats because we booked through a third party travel site. The show lasted for an hour and each performance was accompanied by some video with bright lights flashing on a background screen so it was very hard to see the performance. The music was also very loud my friend and I ended up with a headache halfway through the show. I have honestly never been to a show where I wanted to get up and leave before it was over.

There are three main parts of the ticket: The show, the dancing class, and the dinner. The show was marvelous, no doubt; The dancing class was fun, we enjoyed; The dinner, however, was a disaster. I could not say the waiter discriminated, but that was the first word come up in my mind. Although I have never had that feeling in my life before. The waiter in photo, gives us no respect at all. My wife and me, being the only asian in the sitting row, he treated us completely different from other customers. He did not introduce the menu to us at all, and even decided the items for us. But he patiently introduce the menu to the German customers sitting next to us. The drinks we ordered never come. The dished we ordered was wrongly delivered. The food in our dish is obviously less than the others. I believe we behaved well throughout the dinner, as we always do to act like Japanese manner. And we have good chats with the German couple and Argentinian couple sitting next to us. Not recommended to have dinner here if you are Asian. Just watch the show is good enough.

I attended the dinner, lesson and show and WOULD RECOMMEND ONLY PAYING FOR THE SHOW BECAUSE THE REST IS A COMPLETE RIP OFF COUPLED WITH VERY POOR SERVICE. It’s a shame that to enjoy an epic tango show like this one you have to endure such bad service.

Pro: the tango show is absolutely amazing! The music, the dancing and the performers are definitely a must see. I loved it so so much. Cons: 1- There’s no organisation. They just don’t follow the program you paid for and could not be polite or proactive in the way they provided information. 2- our waiter Martín was so rude and just kept on leaving us confused about what was going on and treated us like thieves. There was a point where a security guard came to chat just to us. We never understood why a security guard was sent to talk to us in the first place even though she was way nicer in providing a bit of clarity on the poorly executed program. 3- The deal my friends got didn’t include drinks for which we were only advised there that we had to and could only pay for them in cash (evading taxes much?). Payment was also demanded harshly before the show even started as if we were going to eat and run. 4- the food I got is way below average for what you pay. I would never...
